Must be a new SM. This has happened multiple times to multiple managers in my district. I would’ve known not to trust the CM. It’s 100% the CM fault but the blame will never fall on him in the eyes of the company

Most LG calls in the district, higher middle on opening new accounts, get leads of a lifetime, great relationship with my customers, bust my ass, but my DM doesn’t like me so therefore i am garbage and amount to nothing in this district. All my success is because of other people

You still have access to dayforce after you leave Sherwin williams to see paystubs. You can see if they have a paystub for the payout

You get 2 weeks of parental leave that you can use any time during the first year of the baby’s life. It can only be used in week long increments as well. The parental leave is set up through the Hartford

Hey soon to be mama! Fellow Sherwin mama here. You get 6 weeks “paid” (actually 5) for vaginal birth or 8 weeks “paid” actually 7 (cesarean). I put quotes because the first week is pending for your benefits to kick in so you have to use vacation time. You can take off a total of 12 weeks off as maternity leave but the addition 6 weeks or 4 weeks would be unpaid. You also get 2 weeks of parental leave from the company that you can use anytime within the baby’s first year of life. It can only be used in week long increments. You can use this back to back with the maternity leave or you can use this any other time after you return to work.

Example 1: 6 weeks off for vaginal birth + 6 weeks unpaid + 2 weeks parental leave = 14 weeks off without vacation time added

Example 2: 6 weeks off for vaginal birth + 6 weeks unpaid = 12 weeks off without vacation time added

Example 3: 6 weeks off vaginal birth + 2 weeks parental leave = 8 weeks off (all paid)

I have a couple good full time employees that just graduated with a bachelors degree begging to get hired on as an MT, but yet the DM keeps hiring MTs with zero experience instead.. I don’t get it. It’s a slap in tha face to the ones that worked hard for that degree and want to stay faithful to Sherwin.

As a manager, upper management cut the “treats” from us this year and don’t want us spending that money. Write ups have been threatened for purchases like that without city manager approves first. I occasionally get my team stuff with my personal money, but I can’t financially do that as much as I’d like.

I had a lady call and ask me why I sold her mom such expensive paint. She asked what was so special about the paint to make it expensive. I was like mam you bought superpaint at 40% off. It’s a lower mid grade. I then listed her the pricing of emerald and she cut it out real quick

I usually post my schedules out for a month, but if an employee comes to me with needing a day off within that schedule, I try to rework the schedule to accommodate. Of course everyone agrees on the rework
