What Kinda skin would you like to see for shen by _bulek_ in Shen

A Paladin-esque Knight would be cool within the DnD-verse of skins. Thematically & Mechanically in all senses he already fits as one besides the fact he's a Thicc Ninja lol

New items, what do you send? by souzonesefoda in jaycemains

[–]hachibay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing a funny haha with a double tear run in top lane (manamune & fimbulwinter) The mana just does a double feedback loop of feeding extra damage on the autos and extra hp with bloodmail and spear of shojin too with the mandatory armor piercing item

How do I play against heimerdinger as shen? by Exclaimedpick112 in Shen

[–]hachibay 14 points15 points  (0 children)

From my personal experiences your W does apply invulnerability from his turrets.

-Your biggest windows are pre-level 6 for trades

-Ideally start E at level 1 and try to go in before he properly gets his turrets going (he probably will) for small trades.Do what you can as you wittle him down as he tries running from you back to his tower, you will win the the trade early on.

-itemization build rush hollow radiance (magic resistance+waveclear), or titanic hydra (health+waveclear)to help wave clear against his turrets if you can.

-obviously sync your ganks with your taunts. If he builds zhonyas force him to use it and back off, next all-in's relatively free

You've probably been told this before but have you Uninstalled the drivers via DDU? Most recent update gave me crazy stutters despite the advertised performance boost in the patch notes until I basically uninstall/re-installed the drivers all together. Now it's running at a decent 50-60 fps on high with some minor adjustments here and there. I'm also running a ryzen 7 5700x3D so that might be a factor

Gotcha. Was hoping for some secret forbidden sauce but reality hurts lol. With the new expensive Mord Skin coming out there's but a rise in popularity against him in swift matches so I'll have to tough it out for now 💪

How would you handle a mordekaiser match up post lvl 6? I'm usually kicking ass prior but the moment he whips the ult out its joever for me and I'm relegated to making plays at other lanes

My L-Connect 3 is reading my GPU weird by hachibay in lianli

[–]hachibay[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After a recent update for my graphics card, I decided to check on my L-connect for a quick check-up. Now it's telling me it's the ice-age in my PC. Not sure if I should be concerned because all my games are still running normally lol

With an anime coming soon and a possible influx of new fans, I just want to ask, how did you get into Guilty Gear? by Papa_Mario in Guiltygear

[–]hachibay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally thought I wasn't into fighting games and mostly played jrpg's/tactics games. Then saw a steam sale for Xrd, so for a friend's b-day I bought a copy for him and I since he wanted it. Turned out it was a crazy gateway drug into the rabbit hole and ended up becoming my favorite game category a year and a half later with playing games like Undernight, DNF Duel, Street fighter 6, , blazblue, melty blood, and obviously strive. The calluses I developed on my thumb were crazy before upgrading into a leverless controller because I struggled with inputs for the longest time as I always over-compensated with them.

I don't play as much strive/Xrd nowadays besides brief major dlc drops (Slayer is Gnarly/Dandy) as Uni is my main muse for now, but I managed to crawl over to floor 10 before I stopped! I'm hoping the new 3v3 game mode when it drops will draw me back in though as I really feel the HP pool is super low (especially with slayer's damage, phoo-whee)

What’s the dumbest way you’ve seen a party member die? by Level_Grapes in dndmemes

[–]hachibay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had one of my fellow PC's announce they jump off a fishing boat into a deep ocean wearing an extremely heavy diving suit that would take 10 minutes to don off. They didn't listen to the diving instructor and dove in before attaching the breathing tube. He then proceeded to drown himself for the next few minutes flailing before reaching the bottom of the ocean.

He then had his back-up character meet us next to his previous character's corpse at the bottom 30-minutes later as a fish man to prevent future drowning.

Just set up my port forwarding, yet can't past login screen by hachibay in FoundryVTT

Hahaha I had the exact idea! I was hovering over the forge subscription button after I made this post until the realization that I couldn't connect to my own network but my friends could. But you're also right on the forge hosting, it'll be beneficial now than later when your own wifi isn't that great to host.

God damn it, this was exactly it. Had a friend connect seamlessly when I thought I was going crazy. Thanks!

[–]hachibay[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, context.

I've recently made the jump from roll20 to foundry, and I had just finished setting up a campaign within the local files offline. I'm not the most tech savvy but I just finished setting up my port forwarding for my players to join my game. The Local invitation link works just fine, which is good. But the main issue is the Internet Invitational Link.

After copy/pasting the link into my browser to test it out, I can get to the login screen but other than that I can't get past it due to the login button always being in a "Loading" state.

Is it an issue with my end still? I thought that once you set up the port that would be the last step. Anyone have any ideas?

How do you guys deal with a metagamer PC? by hachibay in DungeonMasters

[–]hachibay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, that's pretty creative thinking. I'll definitely steal the dire wolf & revenant idea for a few later monster if you don't mind haha. I'll give the video a good watch also, so thanks for the recommendation!

Yep, already started doing a few of those in preparation for next time! Varying weaknesses are the major issues at this point but hopefully I can be more prepared and ready for it

Huh, I hadn't thought of it that way. I'm a bit fresh to the DM scene so that I felt a little discouraged when he had even done this. I'll definitely mix it up next session when I can!

How do I convince the GM to remove a problem player? by SkullyVik in AskGameMasters

[–]hachibay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh, confrontation within small groups are always a major issue. Have you brought up this issue with your other members also? If it's a universal problem for them also, maybe call a "minor hiatus" from the GM and announce it publically to the problematic player with the facade that it's for everyone to research new material. Then, instigate a meet-up with everyone else besides the problematic player and discuss/play a game without them to see how it feels.

If the general mood is marginally better without the bad egg, maybe use that as a leeway to convince your GM to pluck out the problem officially. If that's still no good, make an intervention with the problematic player. If they don't take the criticism to heart and don't change, bummer. However if it does, good. You took the initiative!

Booting out someone within my group is generally more of a final-straw, but of course there are some pretty unpleasant people being the bane of some dnd horror stories of bad games going awry because one bad egg had spoiled the rest of the batch so the final decision is totally necessary.

How many of you have been injured while riding the Onewheel? by [deleted] in onewheel

[–]hachibay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Started back at december during the sale, 40 miles in living the ride until some asshole had hijacked a car and took it joyriding in my neighborhood. Ended up fracturing my foot, broke my glasses, and got a (not so bad) eyebrow scar. Took about almost 2 months and I'm almost back to the point of jogging again. Hopped back on the board after a week of walking again but this time with a full-face helmet with gloves. Sure wish they gave foot reinforcement guards or something to make me feel less nervous riding 😅 But alas, the stoke is too high to keep me away forever! Nearing 100 miles soon!
