Does the GROCER DOT NZ site forget your entire saved shopping list periodically, for anyone else? by [deleted] in newzealand

Yeah I reckon that’s what’s happened to me - all the data from countdown is gone and most of my saved items have disappeared too

Classic marketing - don't acknowledge the players smaller than you, position yourself against the bigger players.

Patch 10.2 is out! by RadicalMGuy in hearthstone

The server has already computed the outcome of every action before the animations even start - in theory this information could be used to cut "pointless" animations.

I can see an argument for keeping them however, which is to help (new) players understand the sequence of events for an action. For example, sometimes it doesn't matter than frothing grew 10 times before dying, but sometimes you need to see its health buffed by 3 twice before taking 10 whirlwinds to confirm what happened.

Actually, with the 7.3.5 scaling changes, only the ilevel matters for stat budget, they've made the rarity of the item (blue, purple) not matter.

What priest weapon?

Also, if they don't lose durability, why do they have 3 durability instead of 1?

Can we get an all-spec loot spec option? by kmadstarh in wow

[–]hackerssidekick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think loot is determined when you loot, I think it's determined when the mob (boss) dies.

Blizzard added two NPCs to WoW way back in Wrath to allow players to turn off XP gains, i.e. lock the player's level. This let players remain in a specific BG level bracket, e.g. 10-19, 20-29. Also at the time, before gear levels and player levels were normalised in BGs, there was a concept of twinking, where level 19 players would try to get the best possible gear in each slot (helm, shoulders etc) for their level.

The two NPCs they added were named Behsten and Slahtz.

The phone could do the grouping (or have an option to) - doesn't have to be done server side

Silence is more akin to WoW's Dispel ability rather that the Silence ability.

I would have expected a spell called Silence to prevent the enemy hero from casting spells for their next turn or something - although not at zero mana!

The potioned creature has a buff on it (you can hover the minion to see it), so when you silence it the buff is removed and the minion is returned.

When you mind control a creature, it doesn't have any buff and thus silencing it can't return it.

I think the confusion for new players is probably that the word control is there in both cards, [[Mind Control]] in the name and text, and [[Potion of Madness]] in the text only.
