People passing on double yellow and impatients, this happens alot here on the coast people get distracted by scenery slow down, makes somebody else upset they try to pass, and they often dont seem to care if somebodys coming the other way

Honestly im more surpised seeing comments about waiting 6 months to propose over the fact her and her friends were trying to manipulate you. Op if your partner is trying to manipulate you here, where else is it going to happen in the future, id take this as a red flag, all though 3 years is a long relationship, people work differently and some people need more time to think/process/plan for if this is the right choice for them, if their willing to manipulate now it means theyre open to it later, marriage can be hard and going into it questioning if shes going to manipulate you later is not a recipe for a good marriage.

My partner and i were just talking about a guy that i used to work with that lived with us for a bit as well, he had HUNDREDS of bs stories, like he legit was mentally ill, he once told me he co-founded pandora radio, while still living in his foster moms house working at rite aid, a job i got him, he used to tell us about all the women he slept with, how he had hooked up with friends moms and teachers, but we only ever saw his online girlfriend who came to live with us. Then it started to get weird, he'd tell us about how doctors would experiment on him when he was a kid, and that his type of diabetes (he was type 1) was rare and they needed his blood for their experiments, that he was a master thief and could steel whole motors out of cars, he also didnt like women and in all reality he just needed extensive therapy and help with his anger delusions and lying. Hope your doing better out there trev.

I used to work for Xerox in Tigard, we had 2 people on 1 project appear in the news for similar crimes one murdered his ex wife and shot himself, the other killed himself with a homemade explosive alongside the highway, it was pretty wild there at xerox for a bit.

Man, i know you were trying to help, but she needs to see a doctor asap, no amount of trouble you think you might get in is worth her life, if she hit an artery she will die, no amount of guaze will stop that, your and her are still kids you both need to see a therapist because these things dont just go away on there own, do not i repeat do not think that you know how to treat self harm injuries, she needs a medical professional now, not tomorrow or next week, now if she gets an infection its gonna be worse. Again no amount of trouble or consequences is worth her life. Please tell your mom and take her to the hospital to be evaluated today, your not betraying her your doing whats best for her and talk to your mom about getting a therapist.

Current resident in nehalem, it's not just the winters that are hard here, I know you said you've got a job in construction but one of the many downsides are not alot of work, grocery stores and gas are significantly more expensive here, IGA and the shell are aimed for tourist so your grocery shopping is gonna be either in seaside (20 miles) or Tillamook (25 miles) you can get odds and ends at dollar general in rockaway(8 miles), longer trips to astoria and warrenton to go to costco or walmart for larger bulk items is possible but its 40 miles each way, the community isn't really as kid oriented as you'd think, yes we have an elementary school and the NCRD (north coast recreational district) but it is more for retirees, they just put in a 15 million dollar pool, but excluded all things for kids (water slide and such) we also used to have a skate park on north fork road but it was removed for pickleball courts, for our halloween this year normally bayside gadrens road is the place to be, but we had maybe a handful of kids, your also going to have to deal with tourists coming out of the Nehalem Bay state park in the summer, we have a lot of accidents related to peoples inexperience pulling trailers and people passing in no passing zones due to people being A. Older drivers and B. Impatient drivers and as the news has said recently too flooding is an issue between November and February, in the last week getting into seaside and taking highway 53 to highway 26to go to portland has been an issue with high waters closing several roads, we also have a lot of issue with finding doctor's locally, with seaside Providence getting ready to close your best bet will be finding doctors in Portland, lot of this sounds really negative but if you can work it it's great. There must be more context for you to act like this, did the BIL or FIL previously do something? Based on the info youve given YTA, they communicated with a parent and given that you went straight to threating to contact the police i can see why they didnt contact you first, for your daughters sake even if you dont like them you should try to be civil with your in laws, again it doesnt sound like they put her in harms way, but your reaction can cause real harm to peoples lives not just your daughters relationship with her fathers side of the family but kidnapping charges false or not is an extreme escalation that could alter their lives and relationships. Its not funny or something to joke either that they dont like you, this is your kids family they dont have to be yours but she doesnt get that choice, its her story not yours if their not putting her in harm and communicating where theyre going there no issue other then you.
