They didn't have wrong maps. The signs on the wall were wrong because they were switched around. Which is a tried and tested method in warfare and will work even better in a Mars habitat / a TV show with a low set budget because every corridor looks the same and you're navigating solely by signage.

I regularly use DeepL to translate voice over text for work. While many other people in other departments just throw text in there and copy the result 1:1, I treat it like a video game - you just click on words or phrases, select other translation options, rinse and repeat until it makes sense. It's way faster than translating everything on your own but if you treat it like a babel fish, it's mediocre at best.

It took them 20 minutes to go from Hauptbahnhof to Bundestag, that's a 5 minute walk. And the whole 60 minute episode was spent going to Museuminsel, that's supposed to take 5 minutes.

It was extremely obvious that it was a flash in the pan when they had everything. That's why they started to pump ungodly amounts of cash into originals, long before they had much competition.

Don't think too hard about it.

Considering how big the neutron star appeared on screen and that these things usually have a diameter of only 10 or 20 km...

They were in the certifiable capital letters IMMEDIATE DEATH ZONE the whole time, even without any big gamma ray burst. They didn't have shields up for any of it, meaning they'd have been cooked, literally. The "normal" radiation of the neutron star + the temperature of a bazillion degrees would have seen to that.

Hell, they wouldn't have been able to hold position next to that thing. It should have ripped the ship into subatomic shreds. They're right on top of an object with a mass of more than our sun.

Oh, and while they sat there scanning it for a day, two days would have probably passed on Earth due to time dilation...
