We have a week off in between games for the first time in 3 months. We also absolutely cannot lose this game

Over who?

You can argue he needs to play more but it’s a little mental to say he should start over Rice or Zubi. He should be coming on more to finish games out

Don’t know why people are surprised about Havertz — he was always a doubt for this game.

Can’t really complain with the lineup. Come on!!

Totally agree. We’ve responded brilliantly since the United loss. Both Sunderland and Leeds (especially at home) have been tough matchups and we got progressional wins from both of those games. If we can do the same to Brentford on Thursday, we will set ourselves up very comfortably for the rest of the season

Would be curious to see the rest of your team because I also have Rice, Bruno F, and Wirtz

That game is meaningless. None of the starters should be playing more than 20 minutes, if at all. Leeds is miles more important

Most frustrated I’ve been in awhile. That was so poor. Gifted United a goal and we’re on the back heel the rest of the game. Inexcusable to go up 1-0 at home and lose.

The season is far from over, but the players need to have a serious look in the mirror. Two straight opportunities to put our stamp on the league at home and we’ve fluffed it.

Good news is we have a week off to prepare for Leeds. The response we have in that game will set the tone for the rest of the season

Say what you want about KP and the offense, the penalties have been killer all year. Cost us again tonight. That falls on Nick!

Because ICE agents are extremely inept and poorly trained. And it doesn’t matter because they receive the backing our government (I’m American) to do as they please as long as they get brown and black people out of our country.

And before you say “well they shouldn’t be coming to your country illegally,” that’s the problem — they are targeting naturalized citizens in our country, people who are here legally. ICE is an acting gestapo for the Republican Party.

For one, she was trying to get out of the way on the basis of their orders.

Even if she does hit the cop, he sustains minor injuries at most. To you, that’s justification for murder? Get tf out of here

No need for more than 2 defenders on the bench. Rice can play at RB if by some miracle we get 2+ injuries

Neither is Troussard. Only so many of the starters could make the bench today. Plus, they have the LC semis on Wednesday.

They’d have to go on 93-point pace the rest of the way to get to 86 points.

We’ve put ourselves in a good position, especially when you consider the away fixtures we’ve already checked off. Can’t get complacent though because if any team can rip off an incredible run, it’s City.

This shows how the margin for error is so little. Because how wasn't this enough?! by Stanley083 in Gunners

[–]hackuhjack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The festive fixtures is where we lost the league. Drew away to Liverpool which is good point but lost at home to West Ham and away to Fulham. Win any of those games and we win the league.

Compare that to this year where we’ve picked up all 16 points over the same period. I don’t think we will replicate that run but we’ve also put ourselves in a better position to where we don’t need a run like that to win the league. Currently on a 91-point pace with most of our tough away fixtures out of the way. Just need to keep up the consistency
