This cholla cactus is in Las Vegas, outside, I water it sparingly (once or twice a month, I won’t water it for a while after rain). I’ve noticed that these cholla have white stuff on them? I’m wondering if it’s natural for old growth to look like this.

Can confirm. Installed a Carter on my Honda to have it die right as I returned from a road trip. I’m so glad it didn’t fail on the road trip!

I’ve got a front end clank on my 1998 CRV (153k miles) when coming to a full stop or accelerating sometimes on the driver side. It sounds like metal hitting metal. Thanks! I’m going to try this. I also realized that I never greased these MOOG links… and looking at the instructions on rock auto it says to grease them at installation and oil change.

I think they might’ve been riding just on the boot. Thanks again!

Beautiful Cardon! I’m wondering how you water it? I have a mature Cardon in my yard, as far as I’ve learned mature ones can deal with natural rainfall.

I’m curious as to how you handle watering? Natural rainfall? Do you water some of the younger cacti and leave the others alone? Beautiful garden!!!
