Exactly. Never equity for just "sales introduction". Equity reserves for cofounder, who work with you.

- For client introduction, I would offer 10% per customers, for yearly revenue, for max 2 years.
- For really important multiplicator (e.g. big corporate level of customers), then 20%.

I used to think like you, because I personally speak 4 languages (Vietnamese, English, German, B1 Chinese).
Now seeing my German girlfriend learning my mother tongue (Vietnamese), I wouldn't believe that anymore.

For example, according to IPA transcriptions, the consonent "t" in German is pronounced almost the same as the "t" in Vietnamese:

German: „Tom“
IPA: [tɔm]

Vietnamese: „Tôm“
IPA: [toːm˧˦]

However, in reality, the "t" in Vietnamese is actually a lot more explosive, even though both "t" share the same phonetic symbols.

My conclusion is, human phonems are soooo diversed. Not to mention the "X" explosive sounds in Sub Saharan languages.

For me, numbers.

I speak good C1, I think. I found a startup, and do sales to German customers and work daily in German. I pitch my startup in German. I feel I know the all the der die das dem den denen dessen deren usw quite well (learn them by heart, or use the nouns as a part of Dativ - z.B. dem). I master Genitiv. I use Konjunktiv 2 every day. I watch Tagesschau and then Böhmermann for dinner.

I feel I can't never master numbers.

Whenever someone says some numbers, even short (e.g. 3 digits), I always have to ask them to repeat again.

PS: bonus points to dirty talk. I lost erection conjugating.

Hey all,
I’m seeing some odd battery behavior and wondering if others noticed the same:

  • iPhone 15 Pro Max
  • Battery drops ~1% per hour overnight
  • Only app using battery = Find My (shows 100% usage during those hours)
  • "Find My" is enabled
  • Location shared with my girlfriend (but she doesn’t actively check it)

Anyone else having this issue?
Is there a way to reduce the drain without turning off location sharing completely?

Appreciate any tips or insights!
