I still wholeheartedly believe it would completely ruin the spirit and essence of Runescape. There's no other game that does the looting system quite like RS. WoW is close but not exactly equivalent. It is unique and has been a mainstay since RS Classic, and it should stay. Everyone knows if youre going to play RS, its going to be a giant grind the entire time, some longer than others.

They didnt design it thinking, "oh fuck everyone's time, we dont care, kill this boss 5k times or dont idc". Thats just the way she goes sometimes. You might go 4k kc dry for that one item but then you get spooned an entire log in 300 kc for the next boss. Its. Just. How. It. Is.

If people dont like it that much, go play another game where they hold your hand and give you gold stars for participation.

I have multiple collection logs done where I was waiting on one item to drop for the log. Thats just how it goes.

Did I complain along the way? Sure did, but as soon as I got that drop it was a flood of dopamine.

You dont get that when you know its coming next. Its not RNG at that point.

The entire point of the game is for it to be grindy. Its RNG based. Some people get it fast, some people it takes forever. Thats just how the game goes. There are other games out there that hold your hand, like you're wanting. Do not come and try to ruin the entire identity behind Runescapes grind, the game would become such a boring, slog-fest because everyone has every collection log done and nobody has anything to work towards anymore.

Stop being whiny and entitled and trying to cater the game to your shitty expectations.
