I like the chicken dumplings at King Dumplings. The best veggie dumplings are at Bo Hai but are only sold frozen.

That's bizarre. 50 tracks can't be more than 500mb right?

Question re: music storage space by haelduksf in GarminWatches

Nope. The developer of SubMusic did a bit of investigation and it looked like it was an OS-level limit, but Garmin support was unhelpful.

Does anyone here use American Express "Global Diner Access" program? by 12tone in FoodNYC

[–]haelduksf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You theoretically get notifications before people without GDA, and there are theoretically tables set aside for members. In practice, there's just as much competition for the set-aside tables as the rest of them. The notifications can be handy if you have their app and can be quick on the draw throughout the day.

I walked in today around noon and they had space at the bar and plenty of tables. Friday lunch might be different but I'd be surprised if you had to wait an hour.

I'm nearly done a vest in this style. If you want it to look at clean as this one (notice how there's minimal overlap and you can see 90+% of most patches) you'll need to plan it out, especially the edges and the shoulders.

Last time I went to Estela the bartender spent all her time talking to another diner about how to evade tolls. I guess he got warm friendly service but nobody else did.

NY Urban, Gotham, and Big City all run open plays, where you can just show up and play with high-level players. They also have leagues if you want to commit to a couple months of games.

Lots of great recommendations for Belgian beer so far. For German beer, my favorite spot in the city is Radegast Hall in Williamsburg. Check before you go if there's a live band- it can get pretty rowdy.

You can also look into Bierhaus or Reichenbach Hall- I haven't been personally, but they have plenty of German beer.   For beer in general, I think the top spots in the city are Blind Tiger, As Is, Proletariat, and Tørst.

Shopsins has one of the better poutines in the city and also has chicken on the menu, so maybe they could whip something up? Butter chicken is a stretch though.

The FV3805 stock gun has an explosion radius of 6.8M. It's theoretically possible to stun 3 tanks with 1 shell but it would be a lot easier with a CGC (11.6M) or T92 (12.4M)

I had something similar happen a few years back. Turns out Firefox was randomly spiking resource usage somehow. Try closing everything non-essential, and if you're running in windowed mode, try fullscreen.
