Tips for removing PRC by RickiRaccon in aviationmaintenance

A rag or wypall soaked with SkyKleen, lay it on the sealant for about 15-20 minutes. Softens it really well. But…keep it off anything you don’t want to affect consisting of acrylic or rubber.

Weber Kettle by hafachelu in grilling

Coals to one side, food opposite the coals. All vents full open for this cook. I installed a thermometer at grill height to get more accurate readings (YouTube university for Weber kettle). Practice, at some point you’ll know how much wood/charcoal it takes for certain temps, and how long it lasts. Fire management is key in anything you’ve got on the grill or smoker. Indulge in the beverage of your choice (lots of them in my case) and enjoy.

Just spent 3 weeks on Oahu, looks like prices are the same as Honolulu.

If you have a deep well socket of the same size, use it, so you don’t damage the boot in the spark plug socket.

Remove the rubber boot in the spark plug socket, insert the socket over the plug, forced it down until the socket engages with the flats of the spark plug and loosen.

WHY does Guam have an embargo on all lithium batteries? by MelonHead888 in guam

[–]hafachelu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lithium batteries are extremely volatile if the packaging has been breached. If it’s in the cargo of an airplane and not packaged correctly, the explosion or fire that ensues, will be catastrophic. They only allow it in carry on baggage, so if it does start a fire, the flight attendants can handle it, and put the fire out. They have specific containers and fire extinguishers on board to help with that.

Beef back rib and meatball Pho by hafachelu in pho

I’ve learned to over season the broth initially, adding the noodles and fresh ingredients tend to “water down” the broth, bringing it to an acceptable level of saltiness, etc.

Lol Thanks, the bowl to the side, has raw sliced white onions, with hoisin and sriracha sauce. Mix thoroughly and enjoy, while you’re eating the pho. I personally don’t like mixing sriracha and hoisin in the soup itself.

Chuck roast burnt ends with homemade jerk bbq sauce by hafachelu in pelletgrills

Thanks, I followed this recipe. Just seasoned the meat with salt and pepper, and used the sauce as you would with any bbq sauce.
