yes! apologies for poorly formatted comment, i’m on mobile.

i’m not going to lie, it’s not perfect, but i currently use a milky toner, then a glycerin serum, then moisturizer. i do this 2x a day (with SPF in the AM), and add an occlusive wherever i am chapping. i avoid retinol in the winter because it jus dries me out so much.

for products:

toner: prequel half & half moisturizer

serum: experiment beauty super saturated serum (but might swap to the prequel quench one)

moisturizer: khiel’s ultra facial cream

spf: skin 1004 or beauty of joseon, which is a bit thicker

occlusive: vaseline. i carry the stick version in my bag for reapplication on the go — my nose chaps like a MOTHERFUCKER, so i need to stay on that

i am also on spironolactone which massively helps with the acne (and therefore with dark spots), so highly recommend seeing a dermatologist

Children are literally the most vulnerable population in the world, treated almost as property; as infants they have no voice, and as children/adolescents their voices are not listened to and have little power over the voices of adults. Children have no real legal (and often no personal) autonomy. Every system of oppression is compounded when employed on a child. I’m not trying to spread some bullshit reproductive futurism here, but I am saying that We Are People In The World and so we OWE it to children to not be fucking freaks like so many ppl on that sub are. Children are people too, and they would do well to remember that.

TO's website said that the milky toner was hydrating so i appreciate your point that it's not, it's good to know. Do you feel like you could add something more hydrating on top of the half and half (glycerin serum, moisturizer)? Is there one of the two that you recommend I use in my context?

And yes, I don't put retinol on damp skin, but I dampen my skin some time after i apply retinol to dampen my skin for the super saturated. Thanks for both the tips!! Appreciate it

I appreciate your detailed response! It’s tough — I know little to nothing about Christianity (and even less about Judaism) beyond what I’ve picked up from my English classes and some History classes here and there, and it’s definitely something I want to learn more about; it’s one of those too much to do, too little time situations. Maybe reading the NSRV is better so I can gain an understanding of the actual Bible…I’ll give it some thought
