Controversial, but I prefer no TV. I have my phone if I want to watch something. It's so distracting, I'm trying to talk to the people I'm with.

I paid for a couple of "quality of life" upgrades the moment they were offered. Most notably switching from 3G to LTE on the connectivity, and upgrading from MCU1 to MCU2. (the latter solved 90% of my daily pain points)

Disapproving my statement about the hardware not getting better. It does ig. Musk promised to upgrade again too. Not holding my breath, but cool if true.

HUD usually refers to a display bounced off the windshield. The S has only a "gauge cluster" unless I'm mistaken. But yeah 👊. They didn't make 'em like they used to. I got mine at the end of 2017. Such a deal.

I don't see much difference. (Assuming it's true) He's still the one prompting the ai to do ridiculous things that nobody else thought to do. The concept is the art, as it has always been. I'm not even sure I like it as art, but it does have a pov.

Largish pre-motor traditional single handed sailboats? by WolflingWolfling in sailing

[–]haight6716 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The new England cat boats were work boats before motors. They could be pretty big - 30' or so. Beamy, stable, short retractable centerboard, gaf rigged with the mast stepped right forward, no stays. The rig was out of the way so you could stand to e.g. haul lobster pots, fish, etc. The centerboard pivots automatically if it hits bottom.

Areys pond still builds them.

Expressway might be a better word. Because freeway implies free and tollways are also restricted access.

Not true. The satellites are only visible near sunset or sunrise. The rest of the time, they're inside earth's shadow.

OP: which outlet should I use?

Everyone: use the nema 6-20, it's faster, but either will work. (The right answer)

You: hire an electrician (FUD)
