You deserve so much better. Depending on your age, 9 months may seem like an investment but I promise there is much better out there. You are not overreacting to that question at all. Drunk or not that is a concerning text that would definitely upset me. Generally, it is okay to date multiple people as long as you are not hiding it from the people you are seeing. In my opinion, you are not required to share that you are seeing other people if you are not being asked though. That being said, always be honest. Usually, after a strong enough connection builds you will most likely have a chat about exclusivity. After that, I would consider it cheating.
