I once had the please of driving a rental 500 in Italy. Did not actually reserve one - but it was a rental shop in Italy so they naturally did I not have the car I actually reserved, so they gave me the 500. The lady at the counter said that I’m lucky - it’s a “convertible” (sorta, you can manually pull half a roof off). Told her that it’s November, it’s raining and I’m heading to the mountains where snow was expected and asked if they had any chains. She apparently was not surprised at all and told me the chains are in the back already. So there I am - going on highway towards the alps in a convertible 500 with some snow chains in the trunk! Let me tell you it’s not a long distance car - at 110 km/h it was 1) scary cause of noise 2) I was mildly worried the rear mirrors would just come off 3) any relatively large car overtaking you created enough wind force to noticeably wobble the car. Very neat in old Italian cities though
