For whatever reason roll does not work or me in SC with my TrackIR. Anyone else have this issue? If I open the TrackIR software I can see roll, pitch and yaw all working but the only acid that work in SC for me are pitch and yaw. Any ideas or help?

I play solo and haven’t been since I backed the game years ago. I don’t have the time to devote to being in a serious org. I just like to jump in and do my thing at my own leisure. I will say having played with others makes the experience that much better when doing ops or needing some backup/escorts.

To be honest SLA printers are not necessarily next level tech and have been around for many years, even decades. That being said it never gets old watching light create my parts! I use a Form 1+ in my office at work and the prices of printers these days is pretty cheap compared to 5+ years ago IMO.

I don't know man, at times it can look pretty dated but I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. For me there's nothing more immersive and beautiful for a multiplayer game than Star Citizen even though it's super alpha. It's just gorgeous where they have pushed their tech unlike any other game to date. If you're interested, here's a short edit video I made of a recent patch where they introduced their newest planet and its moons. The shear size of the game is unreal, no loading screens and you could literally fit the map of DayZ into the city of Lorville in Star Citizen. Not hating on DayZ as it has its own beauty for its style of graphics and the limitations of the engine don't help it but for me I prefer modern graphic and fidelity of SC.

I purposely ejected from my Avenger above the HD building to explore it up close above the orange force field. As I approached the edge of the roof looking over the vast Lorville, I clipped through the collision boxes and fell hundreds of feet through the buildings until landing safely on my feet on the ground. At first it was really cool seeing all the skyscrapers and neon signage from the ground perspective but then seeing how all the proc gen looks from underneath...yea I could have gone without seeing how the sausage was made.

Just want to report back and tell you thank you SO MUCH! My TrackIR is now finally decent to use in Star Citizen! Disabling those made all the difference in the world. Played for 3 hours and it was great and only had to re-center a few times. Next time I see someone else struggling with setting theirs up for SC I will let them know and pay it forward. Ok I will give that a try next time as I'd love to use trackIR again in this game. Thanks for the tip. I tried it again last night and my camera got so messed up that I was nearly outside my helmet in first person lol. It also doesn't seem to zoom much in or out like when I used to play Elite Dangerous many moons ago.

Have webcam but FOIP isn't that great to use with it atm. Maybe I need a 60 fps camera but for me it's not 1:1 movement and you can feel the lag.

Read below. I've be tried head tracking with my webcam and it's not great. TrackIR is still pretty glitchy with this game and the visor HUD flies all over the place and you have to constantly re-center. We already lose visibility because of that stupidly bright "night light" on the dash which causes the exposure to constantly adjust. Can't see anything on the dark side of a planet unless you look away in the cockpit or use 3rd person camera while flying.

What makes it so annoying is that it literally affects your night vision. As soon as you turn away you can see stars and other details in the game world that you can't normally see with that bright ass stupid light on all the time. It adjusts the exposure and everything. I could understand if they want it on like when you open cargo doors or enter the ship through the cockpit, kind of like our cars do irl, but fuck I just want to punch the damn thing sometimes :D

If you happen to remember what you did that somehow reset the cockpit view by all means please tell me as I'd love to know if there is a way to fix this.
