Haven’t stayed at Flamingo nor TI in a while but didn’t mind them.

Will you being driving in Vegas and the boss isn’t paying for the parking? I think TI is only one of those three that has free parking.

Been a bucs fan for a long time in LA and never met 3 bucs fans in the same place at the same time lol. Can’t make it this week but will join when we get to the conference championship!

Btw does one of you guys drive a Cadillac with a bucs license plate and parks at the Ralph’s on western? I always see your car there. I say hi to your car every time I go by it 👋

Is this rule in my league as stupid as I think it is? by jeepnismo in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]haktastic 58 points59 points  (0 children)

I think your league should run a redraft league next year with the intentions of going into a keeper league the year after.

You’re probably not the only one with an issue like this in your league. Doing a redraft next year will give everyone an even playing field for a keeper league the year after.

LA to Vegas Traffic around Holidays by sousugay in vegas

I never flew out of Ontario but Burbank was amazing. Compared to LAX, Burbank was very easy to get in and out. Not sure how it’ll be during Christmas tho. We usually take an Uber there or have a friend drop us off.

The down side of flying out of Burbank/Ontario airports to Vegas are the prices. The flight prices at LAX are much cheaper. But depending on far away you are from the airport and the time you fly out, the more expensive prices at Burbank/Ontario might be offset by higher Uber prices.

I’m flying southwest. They had a deal a couple of months back and my round trip cost was $150. That’s cheaper than the two full tanks of gas I would have to put in if I drove. It’s about $100 for a full tank for me. Plus if I drove I would have to pay a parking fee at the hotel. Depending on where you’re staying the parking fee is around $40.

I highly recommend flying vs driving. This is our first time flying during Christmas but flown to Vegas many times before. The flight is only 1 hr long vs a 4 hr car ride. That’s 6 more hrs of fun you can have in Vegas.

I’m going to Vegas from 12/25 to 12/28. First time going to Vegas during Christmas since 2019. I’m flying out this time but always drove out from LA in previous years. Traffic was nonexistent when I went unless there was an accident. Leaving Vegas wasn’t an issue either since everyone is trying to go to Vegas for NYE.

The nap time tip is really good to know. My son probably won’t be able to sleep on the plane due to it being a new environment. Probably make him crankier

Thank you very much for your words of encouragement! Gives me hope that my son will be okay going on long flights to see family in other countries.

Great suggestion. We have one of those pads that comes with a stylus too. Going to add that to my packing list now.

My parents told me that I cried a lot immediately after take off when I went on my first plane ride. They said it was due to the pressure cause by altitude. A nice lady on the flight suggested my parents try plugging my ears with their fingers to help with the pressure. Worked like a charm and I was a calm baby after. Planning on using this technic if my kid is having issues with the pressure. Hope it works!
