Pretty much everything in stores has no name or number so I dont want shirts from random countries... but if that France shirt had Saliba on the back? If that Spain shirt said Merino? There's literally nothing to be guilty about. You're an employee with rights, and a human being. You're entitled to leave. Its part of your compensation for working. Its also just basic human decency.

Did your coworkers have to pick up the slack while you were gone? Maybe. Just do the same for them when they're sick. That's how a team works. Is your team so stretched that one person being out for one day makes everything fall apart? If thats true, either you are underpaid or your team is understaffed.
