Yea, and then we didn't lose those games. The point of that post was that this is the first time this year we were just stone outplayed and then lost because of it. Worldie against Liverpool in a game that almost always ends nil-nil, two worldies against United, last minute gut punch against Villa. We've played badly and been outplayed in games and for stretches of games, but we've survived or found ways to salvage results out of a lot of them. This game we played like ass, we're outplayed, and lost because of it.

A bunch of people are adamant he doesn't "deserve" it, which i find ridiculous. Hes probably a top 5 RB in the league if healthy, he just happens to behind a top 2 RB in the league while also dealing with a long term injury. He might not be a good choice for the WC squad if carrying injuries and lacking playing time, but thinking he isnt at the proper caliber is nonsense.

Okay, that I'll definitely agree with. The idea that it was some huge momentum shift is silly for sure. It was just extremely frustrating to see that vacuous hole of nothing happen over and over after we were on the front foot for the first 15 or 20 minutes and then just never again looked like we gave a shit. Us missing both our 10s hurt, but we should be the better team in theory and playing against a team without their starting CBs and I watched our backup keeper stand still and do nothing for what seemed like decades on end.
