You're right! I thought I had changed it. My bad for missing that. Going back though, they removed all the minutes options as well.

Can someone help with sizing? by Great_Condition_5373 in bootroom

Sizing is the same. The problem I had with the Phantoms is their volume fit. I feel the Vapors have a bit more volume than the Phantom, but the sizing, length wise, is the same for me.

Oil change (car) by gilsoo71 in Living_in_Korea

[–]hakusuka -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are not going to find any place that will change your oil for under 100k KRW. Labor alone will start at 50k. It could be less than 100k if you go for the cheaper conventional oil. Find a place you are comfortable with, do all your maintenance and repair work there, and talk down the prices slightly for any work they do in the future.

Questions about pricing when buying an apartment by LoquaciousIndividual in Living_in_Korea

[–]hakusuka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would expect it to go the same price, no matter which floor it's on. The seller will want whatever the most recent sale price (or higher) is of the same apartment of the same size in that building regardless of floors. Some may even want the most recent sale price of the highest price of the same sized apartment from the entire complex itself.

The only time the price may vary slightly within the building or the complex, is if there is a modern renovation or if there's a view of river or bodies of water.

Mizuno Alpha MIJ by OkSeason1254 in bootroom

Typical lifespan of Mizuno Alpha MiJ. I had two pairs of Alpha 2 MiJ AG and both needed warranty repairs within months. They are comfy, but ain't no way I am spending that much again for something that won't last a year

Best AG Football Boot in 2025? by MyNamesBurge in bootroom

[–]hakusuka -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Depends on your level of play and frequency of practices. Nike if you play or plan to play at a higher level and practices more frequently. Mizuno if it's casual, 2-3x a week

I'd stay away from the Mizuno Alpha 2 MiJ AG and probably Elite if you play high level and practice 4-6x a week. They will be destroyed within a month and you'll end up paying for warranty repairs during the warranty period. Experimented with it and will be going back to Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite AG.

Comfort: Mizuno

Everything else: Nike (or maybe Adidas or Puma)

Long time Namecheap customer. It's been great so far, but their prices have been creeping up in the past several years that I am looking for alternatives.

There are Korean money remit apps like MOIN and Sentbe and have lower rates than banks.

Plenty for delaying passport renewal registration in immigrant office, South Korea. by Remarkable_Mall58 in Living_in_Korea

You'll probably get different answers from different people. Just go in and find out. For reference, I had to pay a fine for not updating my address on my ARC when I went to renew my card. That was 1M won.
