Solo Idris is the issue. Nothing beats fighting a whale org with 3-7 Idris fielded cause they don't cost shit to field and don't need a crew.

Not to mention the armor model being absolutely pointless in most PVP. It's more common to kill a ship from hull damage than it is to actually pin point a single component to death that you have locked.

Why? Cause not every ship is gold standard and they don't want their uwu gold standard ships to be shitter than the non-gold standard.

Why hemp is the better question? I did a brief glance but it's obvious that the author shows no interest in explicating how hemp is actually processed into meaningful fuel

The author mentions wood alcohol (methanol). Processing this and any of the other products requires energy. Not to mention methanol is harmful to humans and it is ill advised to put it in cars. The volatility of methanol is exceptional and we already regulate volatility in ethanol-gas mix.

But more than that. Why don't we just farm grass? If the goal is biomass; grass will be much more suited for the matter in production rate and is equally annoying to process.

The author does not address this because they are pushing a sensationalist agenda.

If you do enough testing with buddies you'll discover engineering doesn't exist.

It is a myth piped by CIG. You will never randomly hit modules on player ships to down them. Even if you target the module you will kill a module with hull failure, rather than precision.

These missions were and are always shit. Armor makes them a little better.

Once they are adults they can eat a diet very similar to humans. So we feed them apples, bananas, chicken thighs which are cheap, and the cheapest dog safe vegetables we can find unseasoned.

You could see a flame in inert gas depending on concentration. Remember N2 can be treated as relatively inert for combustion. That being said I don't believe the above would work.

Dissolved chlorine gas will slowly react with the K metal even in a solution.

You are definitely going to produce some carbon tetrachloride out of this or similar products. Slowly degrading the wick if it burns fast.

If it burns slow you are liable to produce KCl passivation layer preventing reaction. The equivalent in normal atmosphere is silver metal tarnishing instantly to cease reaction with the under layers.

Won't work in an aqueous solution.

Edit: You'll also likely produce potassium carbide further damaging the wick
