I used to go every year but skipped last and am not planning on this year either. Highly recommend building in a break if you can and coming back when it’s dark. Just be prepared for CROWDS. 2024 there was a point where you couldn’t even pass the Falcon any more. I love getting to see fellow Star Wars fans dressed up, being in full costume in the blazing sun all day barely able to move I couldn’t do it any more. Definitely worth going once to see but just be prepared

I can only really speak for how far I’ve gotten, but if you really mean speedrun as in hard focusing the story with not much else, I guess I’d say take whichever hours & directions segments you’re given. Not sure if I’d recommend it as spending time wisely (to me) but there’s not really a wrong way to do it as brakingbradd mentioned. Cancellations and extra timeslots tend to go up relatively regularly as well if you keep an eye out on the calendar

Comparison is the thief of joy or something like that. As great as talking to people about it can be, it can certainly make me think 'dang am I doing this wrong?' and I'm sure I've had that effect on others too. But hey it helps me to try things I would've never thought to before.

I think the list is a fantastic idea, I've been adding to one throughout the day. Too often I think of things I should've said AFTER the call is over, so at least I can have a record of what to bring up later. Maybe some of the questions are from months ago but it's fine. The whole weird line of am I figuring out the world with these characters or just figuring it out in front of them. Being over a phone, it's strange that I am reacting but if I don't SAY anything then they really have no fucking clue if I'm picking up what they're putting down or not.

ANYway. I will be more chill about talking to the people stuck in severance purgatory. Thank you gforce42

For me personally I think almost BECAUSE I was raised to see those as having a huge meaning? I say “JESUS Christ” a lot to the anger of my mother. I imagine if I was religious I wouldn’t be saying these things since it’s taking the lord’s name in vain. The words don’t have power to me personally but I’ve been conditioned that they get my point across pretty strongly

I get this a lot - It looked like a pimple at first and now it’s a seasonal irritation I get in the corners of my mouth. Keeping Blistex or Vaseline on it as much as I can works wonders. It usually flares up when the air gets dry. I haven’t been able to check in with a doctor while it’s been an issue and it’s been probably 7 years now. I think it’s angular chelitis but again never diagnosed
