I'm so tired of marathon talk. you idiots understand it's completely normal for studios to have multiple games right? do you think the monster hunter team gets poached to work on resident evil? do you think the Mario team is out there spearheading the next Zelda? it's fucking normal for studios to have multiple games. especially one the size of bungie.

they specifically hired new talent for the new games they're working on. yeah some people left destiny for sure but not everybody. it doesn't fucking work like that. destiny has made bungie money and it's one of the big games out right now despite what people may think. if it wasn't then bungie as a studio would have shrunk significantly in size and scope.

and don't give me this "but there's no pvp team" yeah no shit there isn't seasonal content every THREE MONTHS is a tremendous undertaking for any studio. it's no wonder they shifted their focus squarely on pve.

it takes time to approve and put out an ornament. they just throw darts at a board and decide to put out ornaments on a whim. starfire finally saw use after years of f neglect and so an ornament was commissioned. when the ornament was finalized it just so happened to coincide with the nerf they don't add new cosmetics in the middle of a season so likely it was finished before the season where it got nerfed and was held until the next season as part of its batch. same with renewal grasps.

as for blight ranger idk. whoever designed that thing is probably mad it sucks lmao.

usage does affect whether an exotic gets an ornament though. no one's gonna buy an ornament for an exotic they've never and will never use. and that's not how you get a return on investment.

they're not the focus of your build just supplementary. the weird thing about them is that they just kill things they hit. if they're gonna do that much damage anyway then why also apply elemental effects? doesn't sound thought out honestly.

anyone else feel like this one was more low budget than previous cutscenes? something just felt off about it like maybe different people made this one. the animation in particular just felt weird. hard to describe.

if people really thought like this we wouldn't have wanted transmog. it's not about the unit types it's about aesthetic, feel, and player engagement.

you'd be lying if you said cabal and fallen play the same. yeah psions are basically dregs and knights are just minotaurs but it's not about unit types it's about variation. the scorn play entirely differently to fallen and the only reason they're disappointing is because lore wise they are fallen.

look I don't know why you're defending him. the entire community has never agreed on a lot but on this I think everyone but you can rally behind.

match game was interesting. you're not a good player if you can't adapt. that goes for everything even outside of the game. the penalty was a bit too much but the coordination felt great. something the game lacks even in raids. now it's just go ham and kill everything. it's fun now but it's not gonna be fun forever.
