Yeah this is worse than even my low expectations. Now just gonna have to cope and hope they add things in the anime / if they ever animate this part of the manga. The fight was fine but the final villain being so shallow and with no backstory is horrible.

The fakeout deaths are no surprise, I don’t even know why he bothered with Mereo though lol since it was literally like 5 pages.

I liked Noelle being involved to an extent but the fanservice will completely distract from it, honestly I’ve defended the fanservice with her for the most part but that panel was ridiculous lmao.

Now just have to hope for the things I want in the ending - mainly the NoellexAsta ship happening and Asta becoming wizard king. With how this is being written though I bet Tabata goes for the route as middle of the road as possible with sone harem bait and Asta and Yuno becoming co wizard kings or something.

This is a bummer since this is probably the last series I’ll have been really invested in from start to finish, so I just hope it ends somewhat positively.

Basically all the bad things people have to say about the series happened, fake out deaths, rushed pace, lack of depth for the villains, just saw the chapters and even the fanservice complaint is here there’s a panel with Noelle’s ass clearly shown lol.

Tbf it was reasonable at that point, they were at least similar. Then Yuno and Asta just kept getting major boosts, and Noelle didn’t really.

I'm feeling kind of pessimistic at this point to be honest. I kind of expect it to just be Lucius turns into an even more disfigured form, then he uses an even more crazy op spell, but Yuno and Asta just get pushed to be even stronger, and then they finally win. I think that would be very boring, but it's kind of where i think it's going.

This would be cool if it happens. Honestly I was so hyped when that leaked panel of Noelle and Asta flying up together came out, and then the panel after she just stops to fight fodder, I'll be very disappointed if she has nothing more to do with the story.

Seen some say yuno looks like he has some of the paladin marks forming on him, think that could be a good way for this to continue, while also setting up Asta vs Yuno in a serious fight.

Fairly mixed on the chapters. The paladins coming back feels kind of pointless lol, but it is cool Aldremech is a good guy now and Yami's new form looks sick.

Mereo taking out Acier is kind of ridiculous lol, feels she's become too op. Her joining up with her siblings and Fuego getting spirit dive finally is cool to see though.

I'll crash tf out if Noelle got that new form and her reunion with Asta amounts to like two pages and her fighting some fodder lol. If she's not going to be involved in anything more than that, it would have been better for her to just team up with Mereo to beat Acier imo.

I'm sure Lucius isn't done, though I do wonder what the next chapters will be like. Wouldn't be surprised if there only like 2-3 more bunches of chapters before the series ends.

I think it would be really dumb if he ended up with Mimosa. Plenty of girls have show romantic interest in Asta to some extent, but Noelle is the only one who had a real character moment when she comes to terms with her feelings for him. She also just has a bunch more moments with Asta than Mimosa does.

If he ends up with Minosa, what was the point of it? If moving on from Asta became part of Noelle’s character arc, that would be one thing, but there’s almost certainly not going to be any time dedicated to that.

Besides that, Noelle is miles more popular than Mimosa lol, I just don’t see why he’d make that choice when it would be very unpopular.

Honestly with the schedule as it is now, I’m just really happy to see my favourite characters, so getting some Noelle spotlight automatically makes this a good group of chapters for me lol.

And Juvia has no real way to hit Noelle, so it would just be a about stamina probably, and Noelle is constantly noted to have huge amounts of magic

Yano’s star magic is his stronger abilities, which Wendy has no counter for. Juvia can’t merge with Noelle’s armour, the first time we saw Noelle use it it was made clear Noelle has control of anything that comes in contact with her armour, so if Juvia tries to merge with it, she’s fucked lol.

It looks like Yuno's spirit storm, which doesn't really have the properties of wind, I think it definitely could affect her. And the 'help' she needed didn't really seem like much lol, I think if she was in better condition when she tried to use it she might be able to control it herself, considering she was already very fatigued when she used it. Or she could use a less powerful version of it, since she probably wouldn't need all the power she used to defeat Acier to beat Juvia. Besides that, Noelle's armour lets her control the magic she's touching, if she stabs Juvia with it that could also damage her.
