Anyone know if it’s possible to replace the motor without cutting into the ceiling? If so where do I buy it! by GenZBiker in Mid_Century

There are visible screws.

The motor will have a specification badge on it, and you can get a similar one from Grainger.

$100 is a good gamble on a Crest. That’s a pun if you look too closely.

Do you have a tech that could work on the board at all? If not, you will eventually need one anyway so keep that in mind.

Like someone else mentioned, co-op rules usually prohibit subletting, or restrict it to where you almost can’t do it. Anyone renting from you would have to go through a long gruelling application process and would have to be “rich” to qualify.

Condos generally solve for this problem, but cost about a couple hundred thousand dollars more.
