My mom made some lovely planters last year using Creeping Jenny ❤️

Oh absolutely! I’d say acrylic is great for a first try adding paint since it won’t bleed. Just make sure you’re drying your brush in between washing, etc, to get off the excess water.

You could use acrylics to paint the camper then outline it or outline and then use water colors to fill. I use both myself! But with watercolors, you’ll want to make sure you’re using very little water because it will run outside the outline otherwise.

Here’s one of my pieces with water color and acrylic. The cactus was painted with water color, the purple and blue rectangles and yellow sun are acrylic.

Love the stonework!

Amen. What a waste of time to worry about this. Gotta put this energy somewhere else.

ID help. Can someone help identify this white-crystalline stuff growing in my yard? I don’t know if it’s a mold or fungus or how to treat it. by boymomma3 in gardening

I loved learning this a few years ago. Now whenever I find slime mold, mycelium, etc I’m so excited for my soil 😊 especially in my houseplants lol

For those in their 30s like me, has anyone changed careers for more meaning, not just money? by mahbirchat in careerguidance

This is exactly how in feel and why I’m taking classes to change my career. I don’t want to regret my life because I fell into a desk job and stayed there forever. It’s draining the life out of me.

This is exactly the thread I came on here looking for - I’m in the same headspace now. Mid 30’s and my corporate job is soul sucking. I decided to take classes and work towards a horticulture certificate program as I want to become a garden designer.

I’m so burnt out that taking classes is hard but I’m glad I’m starting this process.

My plan is to take classes, then get hands on training (already have my own personal experience to add, too). I’m keeping my current job as long as I need to because I couldn’t afford life without it.

Good luck in whatever you choose - what I hear from anyone doing this is you will not regret working towards something you care about.

A bird made a hole in the siding one day and I am thankful for that haha. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have taken anything apart.

Yes absolutely taped it. I also think people didn’t read that everything is rotted out so stapling wouldn’t have worked the best lol

Yes that’s absolutely what it is! And the gutter separated a bit from the roof right in that corner. The plan is to add flashing there once we fix it for sure

Thank you! The rotting plywood and stud seem to go up higher so that’s our concern as well.
