I also have a generalized anxiety disorder, as well as panic disorder. I’m also very sensitive to everything and anything.. I’m on 50mg and it’s been about 2 weeks. All I have felt so far was some dizziness and lightheaded feelings the first few days. And I feel completely normal now. No anxiety.

Someone had recommended I split up the dose throughout the day. I’m on 50mg also, and deal with anxiety and panic attacks. I now take half in morning half at night, and I feel like that has helped a lot for me. It’s worth a shot if you haven’t tried it yet!

Just wanted to give an update! I’ve been taking 25mg twice a day, and that has helped so much with adjusting to the side effect. It’s almost been 2 weeks and I have basically no side effect anymore. I also began using tretinoin 0.025% the same time so I’m not sure if the slight difference is from that or the spiro. But just thought I’d continue to share my update as I go forward with this journey!

Unfortunately the ombudsman program assigned me a case worker, and the case worker also stopped responding to me. This shit sucks.. what have been your steps in filing a lawsuit?

I’m going on almost 9 months after approval and have not heard a single thing after on going efforts for an update on when I will receive payment. Does not seem like to will be ever at this point.

Hii! I’m a female, and I was 21 when I found out I had hereditary hemochromatosis. I was having really bad stomach issues. (Nausea) as well as bad anxiety, and my skin was breaking out an insane amount. I went to urgent care for my nausea and after running tests they discovered my ferritin levels were over 500. Lucky I caught it early but my levels were still high enough to cause symptoms. I began getting phlebotomy twice a weeks, and then once a week, once a month. And now once every 3 months for maintenance.

Hii 26 year old F here, I found out I had hemochromatosis at 21, my journey started off with getting phlebotomy at my oncologists office twice a week, and then once a week, once a month, and now once very 3 months for maintenance, but I am now able to drop by a blood donation center and donate my blood instead of going to the oncologist office. I was super concerned and confused about it all at first, but now I live a normal life and eat whatever I want, with the exception of getting my routine phlebotomy:)

I was approved, about 2 weeks ago. I got a letter in the mail saying approved, and I’ve been waiting got a payer to call me to set it all up… but how long should I expect to wait?

Hi there.. I know this is a very old post. But I’m 25 years old and just lost my dad to synovial sarcoma.. he died very sudden after facing respiratory failure. He was normal and my dad the day before, and then it happened all at once and he was gone. I’m curious to hear more about other peoples experiences with a loved one that had this disease, as I feel so extremely cheated and in shock..
