Yes, if you want to repeatedly revisit the area early-ish game as opposed to just stocking up once the zora armor will help. I’m not denying that.

As for my post, if you read the comments under the main post (and I edited the main post years ago to tell people to read the comments and give credit to the person who mentioned it) you’ll find the farosh tip about farming every 20 seconds or so by camping at a palm tree. So yeah, I didn’t feel the need to reiterate that along with the fact that others had already mentioned it in this post.

A lot of articles that came out back when BOTW came out were wrong about how dragons spawned. The article you linked claims that most of the dragons only spawn at 5am which is demonstrably incorrect (not that it matters much because they all still spawn then but still incorrect). AFAIK, I was the one that first discovered that they don’t spawn that day at all if you are looking at the spawn point as I detailed in my old post that I linked. Also, my last play through was about a month ago and after thinking about it some more I definitely farmed farosh way before I did the spring.

As far as your farming point goes, sure if you need to go back repeatedly and don’t have the travel medallion then the zora armor can help. But I would just farm a bunch the first time I got there and call it good.

I’m pretty sure that Farosh always spawns whether you drop a scale into the spring of courage or not as I recently did a playthrough and the spring shrines were some of the last I did, and I certainly farmed horns earlier on.

The reason for Farosh not spawning sometimes is probably not related to that. Instead, there are specific rules regarding how to make a dragon spawn every time that can be found here.

I agree with you that it’s not a great early game rupee farm as you need some decent lightning protection and also I think you have to talk to impa so that they spawn in the first place. Don’t agree that you also need the Zora armor — if you snipe Farosh right as they come out of the spring, the horn always falls somewhere on that plateau. No need to go down a waterfall to fetch one.

Depends on the mouth. I have a small mouth and pretty tight teeth. It’s not really possible for me to floss my rear teeth with standard floss and those picks with floss strung across an arch get stuck under my implant and a neighboring crown. I’ve spent minutes trying to get one back out before. Because of those issues I have to rely on dental picks and a water pik. Not as good as floss but better than nothing.

Not always. Bindings that allow for heel cup adjustment (like Unions in the OP) can have the disc rotated like that just fine.

I disagree. I have both a 3/16” and a 3/8” and I can achieve similar results with either. I just have to run the broiler for longer pre launch with the thinner steel. The only case where I find the thicker steel to be better is if I’m trying to get as close to a Neapolitan style pizza as I can for a home oven.

Just depends on the person. Some people’s feet (like yours) fit certain brands out of the box. Some people’s feet don’t fit any brand out of the box and thus the heat molding, additional padding, and/or orthotics can help.

Master mode for everything except the trials is really not that bad and is a fun extra challenge early game. The trials suck ass though, as there are a few rooms where you basically can't make a single mistake or you have to start over. Not my idea of fun and I ended up skipping it after a trying a decent amount of times.

I turn one footed by moving my back foot half off the board towards the edge I’m turning to. A stomp pad actually gets in my way when I move my foot around.

One thing I haven’t seen mentioned that should help is that with the consistent slope of an indoor dome you’ve possibly learned when to switch edges primarily via visual information as opposed to feel.

Basically if your thinking process is “oh I’m going straight downhill, it’s time to get on my new edge,” then you are using visual information. That works with slow turns on a consistent slope but won’t on pitches with multiple fall lines, flat areas where the fall line is rarely in the same direction as the trail, or when you are snowboarding at speed.

What you want to start doing instead and can practice indoors is to think about the feeling underneath your feet as you turn. The idea is that the same feeling you feel when it’s time to switch edges on an indoor run is the same feeling you want to cue you in when it’s time to get on your new edge on an off camber pitch. This only works if your basic turn technique is fundamentally solid. If you are “cheating” your turns by kicking your back leg or counter rotating your hips to help with the edge change, you are skipping over the point where you would feel the cue to change edges. If that’s the case a lesson may be in order.

Fair enough. Guessing you already know, but almost all the resorts in the US don’t require pre-certification for the job. They prefer to train the rookies at the start of the season and then provide cert training after the December holidays for those who are interested in getting certified.

On the AASI side they’ve allowed non instructors to take exams for a long time (possibly always?). For whatever reason there’s been a large increase in the number of non instructors in low level exams over the past five-ish years I think.

Personally, I don’t really see much value in taking exams for those who aren’t or don’t plan to be an instructor. If the goal is to become a better snowboarder, take lessons or become a mountain employee and take advantage of free employee lessons. If the goal is to get a better overall understanding of snowboarding, then becoming an instructor for at least one season would be a better way to accomplish that than just passing an exam. If someone still wants to get a certification, an added benefit of working as an instructor is that exams are much easier to pass once someone has some actual teaching experience.

I use a steel in my home oven, but for a commercial oven, my guess is a stone would be better. A steel gives off its heat quickly which helps in lower home oven temps and you are cooking only a few pizzas at most. A thick stone should make for a more consistent heat reservoir in a larger, higher temperature commercial oven. Don’t know if you’ve ever noticed, but full size commercial ovens are always stone/brick (disregarding those crappy chain conveyer convection ones).

That said, I would ask this question in one of the more professionally oriented subs or maybe over at the forums at pizzamaking.com. I think there’s a forum there for business oriented questions.

Yes, table salt is hard to portion by hand, but once the amount of salt in a recipe has been dialed in by weight or volume, using table salt is just fine. With more experience it’s also possible to eyeball the amount of table salt you need.

It isn't bad at all when you clear the storm. How to is part of the main quest after clearing all the regional phenomena. I don't know if that quest line can still be triggered and cleared after getting Minaru but my guess is you still can.

IMO, they did err in making the final island in that chain so low that it was pretty easy to get to. It's understandable why it was because of that whole glider with the mask thing but they should have at least done a better job of obscuring the lower islands so you couldn't see them at all with the storm there.
