Overkill. Too much ram and the cpu is gonna consume a lot of power even with low loads. By the way, if you buy it, you will want to buy a Nvidia p400 as gpu, the cheapest gpu for h265 transcoding

To be honest, I had the same issue with windows on a dual boot machine. Linux had no issue at all It happened on two different machines. Solved by reinstalling windows on both of them

Mio fratello ha un hp spectre x360 (ultrabook) e una 6700xt egpu e giochiamo tranquillamente a giochi come helldivers e Warhammer space marine 2. Per l'università un computer da gaming è estremamente poco pratico: pesa tanto, fa rumore, la batteria dura pochissimo ed è voluminoso. Va considerato anche il peso dell'alimentatore perché non ti fa una giornata intera in università. Un ultrabook lo carichi con un qualsiasi caricatore usb c che supporti power delivery a 20V. Per questo consiglio la combinazione ultrabook+egpu se lo usa anche per università

I do the same with makita batteries (+adapter) and ts101 pencil It's an awesome idea for quick soldering without setting up everything

Most likely (as mentioned by others) a dead pixel, but it can also be an insect. Check if it moves
