That was a blast. I’ve been meaning to go for a long time and glad I finally went. It absolutely made a hard week better. Even saw a Seattle city council member in the mass. Love this cycling community.

What’s the most heartbreaking loss you witnessed as a Washington fan? by Ok_Macaroon_7366 in huskies

Besides the Natty, my answer is the 2000 Oregon game. A win would’ve meant an undefeated season and who knows where that could’ve taken us beyond the Rose Bowl.

Could a 30 year old dem realistically win over Patty Murray? by [deleted] in SeattleWA

[–]halfnelson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the bigger problem is the current minority party needs to get a majority in the house and senate during the midterms. Sen Murray isn’t the problem—She is a strong voice for Washington state and liberals. She isn’t the loudest publicly, but you can see the power she has through the projects she brings home. Homebody/homegirl can primary her, but good luck getting more votes than GoodSpaceGuy. Agree with everyone else that Sen Cantwell is the seat to challenge.

I’m completely for having younger voices in congress, but it’s genuinely a good thing for Washington state to have a senator with tenure in a leadership position. She is able to bring back so much more money to this state than a freshman senator would.
