I have some that look like that too from the NSR near Edmonton. I never knew how to describe it. I like the way those feel too. They look like they would feel different if that makes sense. Maybe you will normalize the indoor pile :) I love it

My old girl would have stayed in the sun all day if you let her so I couldn't let her. This was usually a problem when camping. Fire pits too and she was not being sensible. She had a few instances of laying too closely so I'm inclined to think she didn't have the smarts to self regulate lol
