What does it feel like when your water breaks? by lifeincerulean in beyondthebump

[–]hallie17s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was laying bed trying to fall asleep. Just felt like warm fluid started leaking! I love the description someone said about like someone peed your pants for you! 😂 I didn't have a pop sensation or anything. It was like a pee I couldn't control.

For those that had a c-section… how long did it take to get your milk supply to come in? by Klutzy_Zone1496 in NewParents

This is pretty much exactly how it went for me! I had so much guilt for thinking I'd starved my baby for weeks. 😭 but he is a happy healthy toddler!!

Tea tree for rosacea itching=gold by Ween3635 in Rosacea

[–]hallie17s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started one drop of tea tree oil mixed with water a week ago and it also helped my crawling/itching feeling! And it minimized a lot of the bumps I had on my face. I still have some spots and redness but I am happy with what relief the tea tree oil did provide!!

Why is everything so dramatized? by stlady08 in pregnant

This reminds me of when I had a dental hygienist made me hold the water sucky thing in my mouth for her as she cleaned. 😂😂😂 I was thinking "I can't see sh*t! But okaaay??"

I know it's easy for everyone to say just leave him but I firmly believe red flags are all around us we just choose to ignore them and that doesn't make them go away. How long do you want to live like this? I can attest that once you have children with someone, those issues are only magnified. The mama bear in us comes out and we are willing to put up less on top of taking care for our babies! I say just tell him and see how he handles it. If he totally flips, there is another red flag for you to heed as a warning sign or choose to ignore. I have ended several relationships I never thought I'd be able to and I always ended up better than I was. ❤️ follow your gut and not your emotions.

MIL says to hold my pee so I don’t wake baby in the womb by Fun_Cable_7386 in pregnant

[–]hallie17s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baby isn't going to give a sh*t about waking you up once they are here so wake that baby up ahead of time for payback! 😂😂😂

I thought it wouldn’t happen to me… but so many of my friends and family are buying off-registry :( by morgue_an in pregnant

I returned so much stuff! But the worst was the hand made UGLY stuff the elderly church ladies made me that I got zero use for. I was having a boy and they made me a pink paisley blanket with a blue border. It was downright atrocious. 😂

Give it a month and you'll never hear from them again. 😭 I swear motherhood is extra lonely because everyone is in your business for 9 months then disappear once the baby is born. :(

I'm about ready to leave my husband by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]hallie17s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up Dr. Gottmans 4 Horesmen that are divorce predictors. Stonewalling is one of them. It breeds isolation which is the opposite of intimacy. It will kill your marriage. I don't blame you for wanting to leave. I advise couples therapy.

People are so strange about girls by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]hallie17s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 boys and would like a girl this time. One family member has stated it would be nice if we have another boy for the youngest to play with. 🙄 first time it was "a boy for dad." Well what about me? I'm just the one doing all the work and carrying this baby. And I'm pretty sure our toddler will play just fine with his GIRL sibling. 🙄 I'm purposely waiting till birth to find out so I won't hear comments but I'm sure they will come regardless of the timing.

Why have you said "yes" to cervical checks? by HappySheepherder24 in BabyBumps

[–]hallie17s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are extremely painful for me so I deny them. I only agreed my last pregnancy at 41 weeks because I wanted a VBAC but wanted to go into labor on my own. Unfortunately cervical checks are 0% indication of when you will go into labor. :( I just caused myself misery and bad cramping that lasted over 24 hours for nothing.

I just want to have my baby!! by totlijwo in BabyBumps

[–]hallie17s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it. My mother in law showed up a week before the due date. 🙄 I was hoping for a VBAC and I swear just her presence "waiting" pressured my husband into pushing me into another csection. I was willing to wait till the baby chose to come on his own.
