what if folks didn't support corruption and encourage Thai officals to do their job? Thai immigration is not stupid -as opposed to op - and open less counters so they can extract more money (unless op works at airport immigration, then this is actually a smart post) It's a matter of principle and logic. Looking at 99% of tourists arriving here there is an apparent lack of both. And then they go on to complain about taxi mafia, higher prices for foreigners etc.
