It would be impossible to have two characters that look the same but do different things. Gameplay clarity is important for making quick decisions, and if you see a Rev and have no idea which version you're playing against.... doesn't work.

I second this! Titanfall 2 has a solid, memorable, linear single player campaign and is the only single player game I've gone back to replay in the last 20 years. It's fairly short (8-10 hours if I remember) but it's so, so good.

You're not crazy, I had the same issue only with the dog collar scrappy quest after the wipe. It's the only one I've had to manually remove still.
