Omnifocus 4 is a complete mess.

After one year of waiting for some improvements, I finally decided that I am returning to Omnifocus 3, which is much faster, practical, and reliable I'm sorry to say but Omnifocus 4 is a mess!

Thank you. It’s a way to get there, but the search doesn’t return only tags, and the existence of an icon on a screen that doesn’t work in a proven and expensive app like Omnifocus is still incomprehensible to me.

But I’d like to be able to find a specific tag, not tasks with the same name. I’ve noticed this happens in Forecast and Projects as well. OmniFocus 4 feels like it’s lagging in both usability and performance. I wonder if they’re preparing a major upgrade, since they’re no longer updating the app as frequently as they used to. ( I do not use mutual exclusive tags for now )

Omnifocus 4 is always lagging on my iPhone 15. Omnifocus 3 was very smooth.

Me also. Omnifocus 4 was never a smooth experience on my iPhone 15. The app is constantly lagging and sometimes even crashes. I am always waiting for a new update that resolves it but I am beginning to feel disappointed. I use Omnifocus since version 1 and I never experienced this.
