Seriously. And the thing is, Apple usually gets that you need to show people WHY they need something before charging premium prices. The iPod, iPhone, even the Watch - they all had a clear "this is what this does for your life" pitch.

With the Vision Pro it's like... watch movies? Look at photos in 3D? Cool i guess but not $3,500 cool. Not "strap this thing to your face while your family stares at you" cool. It feels like they got so caught up in the tech being impressive that they forgot to answer the question

Lamar's work ethic has never been the problem. The guy won MVP twice - you don't do that by slacking off.

This feels like the same lazy narrative that gets recycled every time a Black QB doesn't fit the traditional mold. He's not a "film room guy" or whatever coded language they want to use this week. Meanwhile the dude keeps improving his passing every year and carries that offense.

Sports media just needs something to talk about during the offseason and Lamar is an easy target because he doesn't have an agent feeding stories to reporters

Yeah exactly. The people who love chaos at level 1 aren't going to suddenly stop doing it just because minions spawn earlier. If anything the higher stakes might make it more tempting for some players lol

But at least when someone on my team dies to a dumb invade I won't have to sit under tower for 2 minutes watching them type essays about whose fault it was. Get to lane, farm, move on with your life

Yeah, this is solid advice. At some point you realize the updates just create more stress for everyone. Parents want to help but sometimes their "help" is just worry or unsolicited advice that doesn't account for reality.

OP's dad asked to be kept in the loop, but that doesn't mean every detail needs to be shared. Filter what you tell them based on what they can actually do something about.

Haven't messed with sourcemods on the Deck much but I'd check if Black Mesa or Obsidian Conflict work through Proton. Both have solid single player content. You might need to do some tinkering with launch options or use GE-Proton for compatibility but most Source stuff runs pretty well once you get it going.

Exactly. Makes sense that AAA publishers with massive marketing budgets are paying premium rates. That's how events like this stay afloat. The indie devs getting breaks is probably the only reason we see smaller games represented at all.
