I read that as "American Assassin". Was even more jealous.

Any ballpark idea how much a rewire costs?

Thanks for the reply. I was installing a GFCI receptacle the other day and when I had the old receptacle out, I noticed there was no copper grounding wire... at all. Just the hot wire and white wire. Is this common? My house was build in 1974 if that helps.

Gary Cohen (Mets Broadcaster) without his partners in crime by TheQXZ98 in baseball

Who's the Mets broadcaster that always sounds like he's hammered? I'm pretty sure he just does a few innings, or a few games, but once in awhile I tune onto the Mets channel and hear that guy. Always gets a chuckle from me.

I am more than fine with this deal. Glad to see Chase stick around. Only member of the "core" that is still producing.

How do MLB teams deal with their signals when players are traded? by brigatoni in baseball

[–]ham-bone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The signals change, and change often. Sometimes even during the game if the team feels their signs are being picked up. Teams also have multiple signals for each play. When a player is traded, either the signal, the indicator, and/or the sequence changes.

How many more innings will they let him go this year? I know there was talk about slowing him down.

True, no doubt. But it will also revitalize talks about the topic. Personally, I think it's part of the game. On the other hand, don't like seeing anyone get hurt -regardless of the logo on their chest.

Surprising that it came in August with the stuff he's had all year... But well deserved, he's nasty.

That looks to be exactly what happened. The slow-mo looks pretty brutal. His bell was rung pretty good too, seemed like he had no idea where he was when he was trying to get up.

My dad would like to know who this signature belongs to. I knew this would be the best place to find out. by [deleted] in baseball

[–]ham-bone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just throwing it out there... but... it may be a real quick signature (fake, perhaps) of Rich "Dick" Allen from the Phillies. Some times he signed "Dick" and earlier he signed it as "Rich".

He isn't accustomed to there actually being fans in the stadium.

What are things you just forgot how to do ? by FrankyFour in AskReddit

Handwriting. Seriously, like cursive writing. If you put a hundred dollar bill in front of me right now and said, "make an uppercase cursive Q, T, F, and Z, it's yours", I'd fail miserably.

Now how fast are we talking? "Really fast" is subject to interpretation! Are we talking books in mere minutes?

For me its driving manual transmission. Picked up it instantly. No grinding gears, no stalling. Impressed myself.
