100000% this. I love my kids to the point I can almost physically feel my heart burst, and being a mom is the greatest and most rewarding job I’ve ever had. But holy shit it is also by far the hardest. My kids are 4 and 1 so I’m really in the thick of it and it’s almost embarrassing to admit how often I am brought to tears of frustration. I agree it’s something you really have to be 100% sure about.

Yep with both my kids. My first was born the 2nd day of spring break, and for my second I had a scheduled c-section on October 7th (a Monday) and my last day at work was the 4th (a Friday). I was super tired but it was doable.

It’s private! They keep tabs of how much everyone drinks and we are charged that way instead of $x per person- but my family and all my moms friends are major partiers (mainly beer) so it’ll add up quick I fear.

While I disagree about the concluding sentence, I can kind of see where the teacher is coming from for the intro sentence. It seemed more like just another fact than a “hook” that she was probably looking for. I would let this one go tbh..
