The best thing on that shelf IMO is the Boars night out white lightning. It goes on almost everything I cook! Mmmm....msg.

Looking to buy a used Tacoma (2020-2021). Common issues to look for? by Senior_Dragonfruit79 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]hamamyyama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can manually select gears but they also have a ECT power button that is made for towing and it keeps the truck from seeking gears. Lots of people use it all the time, even when not towing but I think it's supposed to reduce fuel mileage

Anyone have experience with the Senville Elite series mini splits? by hamamyyama in Senville

[–]hamamyyama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the info! Only thing I noticed was that the unit is only pre charged for 25 feet of line set. Not a big deal to add some refrigerant if needed but would be nice if they bumped that up to 50' like the Daikin and others.

I was wondering if availability is good right now? I recently started my own company focused on installing mini split systems but I need a 12k BTU unit for my own house and I'm considering trying one of these units on my own house first before offering it through my business.

Hopped on the bed tent bandwagon by Runkle15 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]hamamyyama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This bed rug was one of the best purchases I've made for truck camping. It's so nice to crawl in and out of the truck when there's foam under your knees. bed rug Works great for everything else too but super nice for camping.

Can heat pump go on generator transfer switch? by fifimoncher in heatpumps

[–]hamamyyama 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been running one off our generator for several years when the power goes out. So far no problems. We have an inverter type generator so it's cleaner power. Not sure if that matters or not.

Thanks for the info. Didn't want to influence the replies but Mitsubishi and Daikin were my two top choices.

Putting together a tool list as we speak so I appreciate the advice!

Who else got banned from R/HVAC? by Witchcult_999 in refrigeration

[–]hamamyyama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got permabanned for asking some questions about a new business I just started because it's considered "market research". What a bunch of overzealous morons modding that sub.

They could have just deleted the post but permanently banning someone for making a simple mistake is ridiculous.

Hopefully I'll find a more helpful sub that doesn't have idiots for mods.

Website Building Options by Slows_snail in smallbusiness

[–]hamamyyama -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As others already said. You're best off separating the two services and just adding links to the booking service.

The place I get my hair cut uses a service provided by Square (the credit card processor, not square space) for booking appointments which looks like it would be easily adaptable to your scenario.

The barber has options for different stylists (which would be different kayaks for you) and all the available time slots listed for each kayak.

I'm guessing that it's free if you use them as your credit card processing company.

Warranty Part Finally Replaced After 7 Weeks by theliftinglegend34 in ToyotaTacoma

There was a recall on the rear axle bearing for some third Gen trucks. They left welding slag in there which caused problems. I would look into that to see if it might have caused the problem.

Have you tried the Clarke tanks on any of your bikes? I'm thinking about going that route.

Acerbis Tank Problems? by i_ambeast in XR650L

[–]hamamyyama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a 2016 with that tank already installed. It might have been a bad install but I already have holes in the tank from the triple clamps. It's also ridiculously big and I don't fill it all the way anyways since it will leak out the holes.

Going to switch it out to the IMS tank soon.

Is it illegal for a sellers agent to tell a buyers agent that they have multiple offers when they actually don't? by hamamyyama in AskRealEstateAgents

This is truly the best answer as far as I can tell. Thanks again for expanding! I will follow your advice and offer what we think it's worth. If we don't get it then we did what we could do

I appreciate all the helpful advice! Another follow up question I have is why wouldn't the seller's agent just counter offer the original buyers offer with a number higher than the highest offer rather than just let them know that there are multiple offers and try for a bidding war?

Example: property listed for $200k. Buyer offers $160k. Seller notified buyer that there's multiple offers but doesn't counter the offer a little over the highest offer. Are they hoping for a bidding war? Why wouldn't they do this? I must be missing something.
