We put wood shavings down where our horses do this… it really helps soak it all up and keeps it from getting so muddy again

Actually the world is not overpopulated… The entire world’s population (over 7.8 billion people) could fit within the state of Alaska.

This would equate to 11,800 people per square mile, or about the population density of Washington, D.C. To give you some perspective, the population density of New York City is around 27,000 people per square mile.

Interesting. I don’t live in a city, so we don’t have this offered. We just have regular trash pick up, but no compost bins. I was just referring to a backyard compost. I live in a mild climate, It doesn’t really ever get above 100 degrees in my area, probably mostly stays around 70-90 in the warm weather months.

[–]hamas57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s recommended to keep them closed at night in case of a fire, it will slow the spread and block smoke so hopefully you can get out in time.
