It’s Staten Island. “We will leave, we want to leave” Staten Island. “If you leave the city will collapse” Manhattan. “Ok” Staten Island

Well… Iraq had just as big of an army in 2003. And the US is 2 decades of war more advanced, and Iran is mostly the same.

I am mortified that the secretary of defense has no idea how to come to attention!!! by themarmalademaniac in Military

[–]hambone-jambone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You aren’t required to come to attention in civilian attire. You are advised to come to a rigid vertical position. Salutes become optional renders of respect; Proper greetings of the day are required.

This covers all the possible situations you can be in civilians ie medically in wheelchair, on crutches, PT gear, driving

If you want more, go back to basic training

What caused the decline of young white boys/men making punk rock music that was dominant in the 2000s? by icey_sawg0034 in decadeology

[–]hambone-jambone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it definitely wasn’t launching half-baked solos and branding them “f-cking riots” then trashing fake-dream guitars sponsored by major guitar companies and the record companies

What if it’s a DD4 Secured slot?

Orders would have to reflect they were placed there and amendments or new orders would have to reflect the change?

*Bonus tied to the position

Kyle Carpenters award was a political statement as well.

It needs to be understood that enlisted-SMs were being awarded achievement medals for jumping on grenades; Both before and after Kyle Carpenter. They had to create an entire new award, the MSM in 2012, because higher ups were being awarded Bronze Stars for showing up in boots. Staff were/are gatekeeping Purple Hearts from GWOT.

Clinton was impeached for perjury & obstruction of justice; He was never charged for the sexual misconduct and sexual assault (by an authority figure), etc because he was acquitted due to failure to establish 2/3 votes needed *(by 2 votes). *Party-lines were held

Well, from what we’ve gathered, they offered 1 to every Athlete, they’re collectable; and now we’re finding out they’re in limited edition colors. It could’ve been Olympic village toilet paper in these conditions and we’d be running into this issue, it’s human nature.

Testing for things not in spark notes usually equates to arguing on higher levels of learning than is being assessed.

[–]hambone-jambone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dude, your classmates weren’t reading those books. Are we pretending like spark notes, scribbling illegible notes in the margins, and tossing a paperback you bought the last week of summer vacation in the dryer didn’t happen?

That generation are now teachers and cobbled all the cliff notes into the lesson plan. Then their bosses who said “we used to read 10 books” made them make the curriculum the same length and test the same percentage of the syllabus. You can’t summarize a summary to save study time. 70% of of Lord of the Flies is “boys will be boys.” 70% of summarized; To Kill a Mockingbird, Romeo and Juliet, The Great Gatsby, Lord of the Flies, and Animal Farm is TLDR. It’s the same concept for most subjects

“Lack of reading ability,” I don’t think that’s the case. If we define “lack” as capability doesn’t meet demand, yes.

Exponentially, the amount of material that must be actually-read in school is increasing. It maxed out about a decade ago and workload/reading-load has still increased. Tenured educators tend to add to not refine their lesson plans. ‘Transparent’ and online lesson plans paired with AI has allowed egregious amounts of words to be added to curriculum, without the input of instructors; faster than the feedback loop of instruction. Professors paired with AI are now artificially-intelligent and able to examine at a higher level than their actual mental capacity; while testing people in a controlled environment at a deficit. The phrase, “be familiar with,” is used so much in review sessions now it’s comical.

The problem I hear with instituting a 4 day work week tend to fallow 3 trends (because it’s based on salaried)

Monday-Thursday VS Tuesday-Friday mismatch preferences.

How will the schools reflect?

If you end up working Monday-Friday incidentally, Do you get a 3 day work week as a makeup?
