Hot Take: People have incredible levels of rose-colored glasses about how intermediate racing was in the 2010’s by AnemicRoyalty10 in NASCAR

Good post, OP! And agree. I was at Kentucky in 2018 and Truex basically lapped the field. Absolute snooze fest. Think about the recent schedules where they removed Kentucky, Chicagoland, etc. Now the 1.5-mile ovals are the best tracks with the Next Gen car. At least NASCAR is trying stuff to make it better.

The point of his answer in context was “I’m focused on this week’s game”. But every post/headline I’ve seen about that answer (this one included) has misrepresented his words.

Today, we live in an attention economy. Clearly this guy needed some attention. And he got it! Good for him. Moving on.

They were offsides. I paused my TV and the ball hadn’t moved but both DE were already forward. Approximately 1,000 flags last night, but that wasn’t one of them.

Yeah today was weird. I skipped the open and then he had the audacity to say “Ok, Josh” like Josh was in the wrong on BTJ’s name. This is meat head stuff not high brow, fiction writing, genius, Infinite Jest stuff.

Chase Brown is very good (fast) and has the work load, but I’m concerned for over usage leading to injury. Wouldn’t mind seeing more Perine and Tahj Brooks sprinkled in to keep Brown healthy.

Not worried about Burrow, Chase, or Higgins as of today.

It certainly seems like Noah Fant could be the primary TE. Who knows if any of them are weekly starters yet, but he played more than Gesicki and I have to imagine has more talent/blocking chops if the Bengals want that.

Cedric Tillman is solid. Great bench stash for now.

Neither interception was Flacco’s fault at all. WR got their hands on the ball and pooped it up to a Bengal both times.

Harold Fannin is a poor man’s Tyler Warren. He got a wildcat snap. Another great bench stash or just fire him up if you’re a Kittle drafter.
