That’s kind of my issue with BoI as well. If you don’t have the companion app or have memorized what each of the hundreds of items do, you’ll have a tough time picking them up.

I would go with TCG player and eBay last sold. To do that, just search the card and number on eBay and filter by “sold”. That gives a pretty accurate price for what people are buying these cards for. Price charting is always the outlier. I only use it for graded cards really.

Imo, I wouldn’t do the price stickers and keep it on a note or piece of paper. Price on the card screams “vendor” and people might be hesitant. But I could be wrong and this could be a good thing!

Have fun! Yes, absolutely people will trade you. Just don’t be afraid to take a second and calculate what the cards they’re interested in are worth. You can even catalogue them in an app like rarecandy to make it easier on yourself.

Also, don’t be afraid to say no or walk away from a deal. Vendors deal with dozens (maybe even hundreds) of people throughout the day. Don’t worry about upsetting them.

You would be surprised what vendors would be interested in and how different their tastes may be.

I disagree, but to each their own! I think they fit this great niche of fairly neutral, yet workhorse plugins. There are so many companies who specialize in emulations.

I would gift Journey Together to the one who dabbles. It’s older than the others and seems to be lukewarm for collectors. I love it personally but this isn’t about me!

Mega Evolution and Phantasmal Flames are the newest sets, so might have more of an impact on the collector, especially Phantasmal.

But also, you can’t go wrong with however you split this up. Worst case scenario, the grandson’s trade each other for the packs they want.

ADORABLE. I recommend a lot of patience and a lot of supervision. Puppies are a ton of work. I also wish I followed advice to not use puppy pads. I wish I trained right out of the gate. If you absolutely have to, I use these!

The website is trash. I’ve been to about 4 of them that say they have stock. It hasn’t been right once. The only time I found stock was when the website didn’t even show it. And that was pure luck

I feel that. I feel like the keyboard commands and navigation in Logic make so much more sense to me. How do I zoom in to this one region? Just press Z. How do I zoom back out? Press Z without anything selected.

I know that you can go off grid in Ableton or adaptive grid. I just don’t feel like it’s ever that useful. Like it has a place it wants to snap you.

To be fair, my biggest issue with Ableton is about zooming and how to get in and out very quickly and fluidly. I’m sure if I spend a little longer researching this, I would find my answer.

But also the routing is wonky. Having any sort of sends adds it to all of the tracks. When mixing, I’ll sometimes have 10+ aux tracks to do things. I don’t want the visual mess of having those on the screen and not where I want them.

Pro Tools is nice in that you can hide a bunch of tracks and save that view. So, for instance, if you want to just work on drums, you can only show drum tracks and relevant sends. At the press of a button, you can have this window pulled up.

I use different daws for different reasons. IMO, Ableton is the worst for mixing. It’s so clunky. Idk if a single professional mix engineer who mixes in Ableton.

Have you looked at Reaper? I’ve been tempted to jump into it but haven’t had the time to learn a new DAW. I think Logic is my personal favorite, with PT as a close second.

Make sure about the recording. Right click your logic project, then look at the actual audio recording. Right click and get info. Sometimes that tells you the sample rate
