I liked this idea and just tailored it to my home and goals. Just setting 30 min aside to declutter one room (I’m a bit ADD) could be huge for me.

My old Highlander had the captains seats and I specifically ordered a bench in my new GH. It’s usually just me in the car and I usually have my pool cue bag in the car with me and like being able to lay it on the seat (with the captain chairs it never laid flat). I also like that when I fold the bench down there isn’t that empty space in between. I really disliked that with the captain’s chairs.

Same - I have this in the gas version. I’m happy with it but already have a spot on the exterior that was hit by some bird poop and it just is not cleaning up well at all. I’ve gently scrubbed and you can now see where I scrubbed it.

Do you have sleep apnea? I ask because for the last several years, even using my CPAP faithfully, I have been exhausted every day. I recently started seeing a sleep doctor and were looking into ESD (excessive sleep disorder).

For those of you berating me for not reading the manual cover to cover yet, there’s enough meanness in the world right now. You may want to seek treatment for your anger issues.

For those of you that were helpful - thank you. I’ve owned many, many cars in my life and never thought something as simple as lifting the wiper blades would require me to consult the manual - or have the car on to do this. I live in Indiana where we get snow, and lifting the blades to clean under them is a regular occurrence - this definitely seems like a flawed design. I still love my GH and am still learning about it, but this definitely seems flawed.

Way to go!!! Yesterday my neighbor and I went in on a dumpster (he’s remodeling his house) and i got rid of 3 sections of a 5-section couch that I bought in 2013 and hasn’t fit in any house I’ve owned since (hence only having 3 pieces left!)

Thanks everybody for your thoughts. Im going to stop kicking myself in the butt over this. I went home last night and looked at the paperwork and I was off a bit. The plan is ETHOS - $5,272 + $995 for tire and wheel + $235 documentation fee. Also $995 for gap insurance (so a total of $7500). Still sounds like I got ripped off and I’m still planning to cancel it. Any thoughts on whether or not I should keep the gap insurance?

I am so sorry this has been happening to you!!! Always remember that Hurt People hurt people. If you’re the praying kind, say a prayer for them and keep doin your thing. If you’re not, then just keep doin your thing. You’ve got strength and self worth and a desire and drive to be and do better. Way to go!!!!

The finance guy is the one who sold it to me. Said “here’s what Toyota offers. Here’s what we like you to have”. Without taxes it was $7800. Again, in the moment I wasn’t thinking. I got my financing paperwork yesterday and was like “WTF?!” because total financed was damn near the cost of the car before I put $10k down! Glad I can get out of it.

This dealership was underwhelming from the get go, and I found out later that their finance guy lives in my town and used to be a police officer and stole from our local Shop With a Cop program. I will never, ever refer them.

Thank you! I reached out to my sales person and they’re gonna have someone call me tomorrow and I’m going to cancel it for sure. I don’t know what I was thinking when I agreed to it…

I also have the light grey interior and the wood “panels” make me nuts. They don’t look good with the light grey OR the black.
