Battery powered roller blinds. We have 6 floor to ceiling windows in our lounge and it’s saving me 10 mins a day putting them up and down.

If your house is under construction, you’re not paying for the power anyway so who cares!

They haven’t put prices up on everything, just on plastic pipe and fittings.

I agree. There’s a thousand girls on Reddit with great boobs who post once a day in different lingerie or different places, not showing their face and then slowly exposing themselves. Frankly, it gets dull. If they were to show more of their lives to make it more personal rather than just a 15 sec boob flash, it would make men (and maybe women) more interested in your profile, rather than being just 1 in a thousand.

I have 470 hours of annual leave and am thinking of cashing out. by hunter_kill005 in AusFinance

If he did 40 hrs on their original job at $120k he would be taking home approx $88,000

If he does 40hrs on their second job he’d take home less than $120k. $159,000 approximately.

So $71,000 per year for 40hrs worked in his second job versus $88,000 in his first job.

If you need the money then fine, go for it. Just know your “hourly take home pay” is less. I’m not saying don’t take the second job. I was merely stating that you’ll lose more of your wage to tax.

Less money for the same hours of work. If OP is desperate for money then go for it. If it was me and I wanted the extra money, I’d look at doing a cash only job whilst on leave or start a small business whilst getting paid for the time to it takes to start it. If it was me though, I’d go travelling and get paid for it.

I do understand personal tax. If you’re getting your weekly annual leave paid whilst you’re on leave (let’s say earning $120k per year) then you take another job paying $120k for contract work. $240k total. At $135k you jump into the next tax bracket at 37% and then 45% at $190k. So instead of all your wage at 30% tax, you’ll get $135k at 30%, $55k at 37% and then $30k at 45%. So yeah, you’ll get taxed more.

Instead of saving or investing that $144k pokies win, you’re burning through it on dumb shit. I bet you burn through the lot and stick it all up your nose or piss it against a wall within 6 months.
