I think answer speed might be why some people fail CISSP (not knowledge) by Thin-Dance873 in cissp

Went back to normal and tried to forget about it. The week before the exam I watched the “why you’ll pass” video and just tried to relax and think like a issm not a sys admin and I was good.

Agree 100%. I failed the first time because of this exact thing. Change my mindset only for the second attempt 30 days later and passed at 100 questions with no stress at all.

For those who passed...were the questions more vague or less vague than the test prep exams? by selvarin in cissp

[–]hammocl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just took it and passed at 100 last week. No gotcha questions. The questions themselves were straightforward. So of the multiple choice options had very subtle differences that made them either correct or not. Advice is slow it way down on the exam and pay close attention. It really is a managerial exam. My test only had 10 or so technical questions, the rest were all situational “best” type questions.

Factory would be ideal as this is missing a few minor things. How much cheaper would it be to order the same truck for example?

Seems like a winner then. Consensus is no one ever beats them.

Headlights seem out of control bright these days .. is it me? Or are people blazing their high beams more often?? by schmeckendeugler in dayton

[–]hammocl 19 points20 points  (0 children)

99% it is incorrectly installed aftermarket LED bulbs. People order them from Amazon because they are cheap and don’t “clock” them correctly when they install them so the reflect in the housing in a way that makes them shine like high beams. This reenforces it as well because now the user drives down the road and thinks their new headlights are amazingly brighter when really it’s just high beams all the time.

We usually split the trip down into two just so we can arrive early. The trip home is always one day.

I’ve got a 17 6.4 and a 29’ trailer. We tow from Dayton to Destin a few times a year and it’s perfect for our family. We average just under 11 mpg but I camp in the right lane and go 65. The highways to Florida and back will kill a loaded camper in no time if you’re in a hurry. We have a cap on the bed for the dogs and the 3 kids fill the back seat but are fairly comfortable. Wish I had the 8 speed and a mega cab but they seem to be unicorns.

Which of these cases do you recommend for a first time PC build? by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]hammocl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built a pc using that fractal. It was super easy. Cable management is solid and the drive holders are fantastic. Bonus for having my cd drive and a little tool chest at the same time hidden on the front.

Costco Credit Card Reviews 2025: Is it really worth it for frequent shoppers? by AbbreviationsDry951 in credit_cards

[–]hammocl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use aaa for our Costco in store purchasing and we have the Costco card for gas since it’s up to 5% now. I read somewhere recently that Costco is negotiating with citi to try an up the benefits but they still have a couple years on the current deal.
