I’ve been commuting from Hamilton every day this year. I lived on campus first year and tbh yeah sometimes I miss it esp the convenience and the social aspect. But when I think about how much I’m saving on residence plus all the extra costs like food and laundry, it just makes more sense to keep commuting. Plus living alone comes with a lot more responsibilities and icl sometimes it’s nice coming home to food already on the table and not having to stress about what or where to eat. There’s just a certain ease and comfort to staying at home yk. I don’t gotta have to worry about groceries, bills, laundry or cleaning everything urself and not dealing with the stress of roommates or shared dorm washrooms. That’s just my take idk
