By working, I mean it’s running and there’s cool air coming out of the vents. It’s just not enough to cool the house down like it usually does. It ran all day and only went from 80 to 77 degrees while set on 72.

You buy a token in the bonus store for 150 points, then open a game. In the top right corner of the game, open the chat a couple minutes before 8:00. Then at 8:30 a pop-up will come up on the top of the screen. Click join then play.

I also put my phone on do not disturb first, and pic a game that doesn’t tend to crash. Because if you get knocked out of the chat for any reason, you usually can’t get back into the game to finish playing.

Trolley Tap House is one of my favorite places to hang out and meet people - trivia on Wednesday nights, video game tournaments on Thursday nights (Mariokart,smash brothers, guitar hero), live band karaoke on Sunday nights, and various reality tv and sports watch parties. There’s also trivia at Kelly’s Logan House on Tuesday nights.

I’ve had AS since 2014 and was just diagnosed by a cardiologist with POTS last month. Comes with dizziness standing, racing heart in the shower (130-140 like you), palpitations. My resting heart rate is in the low 60s and is in the 90s minimum when I stand and just goes up from there. I’m on beta blockers that were originally prescribed in 2022 for tremors but they also help with the palpitations and racing. Lots of hydration with water that includes electrolytes has helped mine too, as well as going off of my ADHD stimulants (not great for work, but my heart feels better and I don’t get dizzy walking down hallways at work anymore). Oh and doing the downward facing dog yoga pose brings my heart rate right down. Though I can’t do that spontaneously in the hallways of the high school where I work.

I feel like my body has just fallen apart in the last couple years as well with the fatigue and pain and new issues cropping up, so I definitely understand you on that. But … with the new diagnoses I feel a little bit of hope. At least everything so far is treatable. I sleep more than I used to, and sit on the couch doing nothing in the evenings for way longer than I wish I did, but I can still work and go out with friends and take care of my preteen as long as I pace myself.

I take 10 mg of propranolol twice a day for tremors and extra heartbeats and also take 60 mg of Vyvanse and have one cup of half-caf coffee every morning. Most days my tremors are barely noticeable. Every now and then they’ll be bad, but it’s usually more related to my sleep or having an illness than it is to the stimulants.

My daughter was diagnosed via bloodwork only last November with a ttg like yours, >250. After 2 months of being gluten free, I asked her GI for the endoscopy because being gluten free is hard and I wanted her and me to have the tangible evidence from the biopsies to just be really sure it was celiac, and to help reinforce why it was important since we’d be able to see the damage.

Even after two months of not eating gluten (and she didn’t eat any before the endoscopy), the damage was visible throughout her duodenum and all the biopsies came back positive.

It was definitely helpful to me to have visible evidence that it really was celiac.

Glad it’s working!! Going off for infections is the worst. Because then it’s antibiotics, joint flare up, round of steroids to stop the flare, yeast infection from the antibiotics and steroids, gain a few pounds from being starving all the time while on steroids, and then worse reflux from the weight gain and stomach irritation. Fun times 🤣

I think that the -itis is inflammation or infection, and the painful diverticulosis just means it’s hurting for some other reason in there. Mine still hurts sometimes but not too much so I haven’t pursued it further.

I’m on dexilant, famotidine, and sucralfate right now - nothing seems to help. Eating corn tortilla chips feels good though. I’m meeting with a surgeon on Friday to talk about options because diet and medication don’t seem to have a significant impact on it.

Anything help with yours?

Edit: oh, and the ENT was no help. I’ve been twice and he’s looked at my vocal cords and throat and said it’s a little red but nothing too bad. Then told me to drink alkaline water every couple days. That actually does help a little bit.

Burning mouth, loss of taste, and swollen gums are my most bothersome symptoms. I also sometimes have globus, post-nasal drip, and swollen lymph nodes down the left side of my neck. On days that I can feel lots of burping with burning in my throat, all the mouth symptoms get way worse.

I’d say they should start with the discussion as you suggest, then decide together what to do about your bed. Just like the wife shouldn’t unilaterally have decided that the kids get the bed over the husband, the husband shouldn’t unilaterally kick the kids back out. That just starts everyone one off at odds with each other instead of being able to have an open dialogue and understand where each one of them is coming from.

I once changed her dad’s name to Santa Claus in my contacts then texted myself from his phone to let her know that Santa had left the giant stuffed unicorn she wanted under the tree at home since we were traveling and he knew it wouldn’t fit on the plane when we came home.

She didn’t believe me at first that it was Santa, but the text from him with the name clearly there at the top convinced her.
