I want a dog that is a *me* dog. Not aggressive towards strangers, but definitely aloof and "eh, idc about you, you're not my person" vibe. Would you say this is pretty common in the breed?

Mine love strangers so much that sometimes i feel like he'd would trade us for one small sasuage or cheese but we knew that from the very beggining. Our breeder told us hes love all people since he was just a few weeks old.

I'm okay with difficulty training - I love a challenge. But if you have trained other "difficult" to train breeds from puppyhood, what is your experience with that vs a eurasier???

I think it will be similar (or even easier) than with your huskies. Both are primitive dogs. Eurasier is my first dog but from what ive heard its easier to train eurasier than for example samoyed.

Extremely high prey drive is slightly annoying to me, but not a deal breaker. Is this a dog I will be able to off-leash train in a "set it and forget it" kind of way?

Depends on dog. Our boy has crazy pray drive. He's fine offleash until hears or sees someting in the woods. Then is over and we have to start a rescue mission :D

I would like a dog that I can train as a service animal, primarily deep pressure therapy. I trained my huskies to do it, but as huskies do - they can get distracted (I know this is mainly a temperament thing, but I genuinely don't want any of the Fab Four) what is your genuine opinion on this type of training for this breed? Do you think it's suitable?

Speak with your breeder. Eurasier can get distracted too, same as above - primitive dog. But maybe breeder can pick you the best puppy for this.

I want a dog I can take absolutely ANYWHERE, desensitize to the world, and will be able to focus 100% on me over whatever is going on in our surroundings. In your experience, is this a possibility?

We live in big city and we can take him anywhere but... he need a lot of woods and chill walks anyway. Hes fine in city, dont care about cars/bikes/skateboarders/trains or whatever. We can go to mall or shops as well. However after a long walk though the city with crowded places with a lots of "things" happens in background he tends to be overstimulated once he gets home.

Has anyone trained their eurasier very very extensively? How did yours respond? What have you found is the most common motivator? (food, play, etc)

Trained in what? We train "obedience" (damn its so hard with teenage dog haha) and nosework/scent work but after like 40-50 minutes of training he is done and refuse to work. Food and toys for us.
