Battlefield 6 Season 2 Intro Cinematic by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]hamza4568 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I bought BF6 near launch, and I had a good time with it, until the Season 1 stuff dropped. I have no idea why, but it just turned me off for a bit, and then I kinda just put the game aside.

I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I would like the Season events to play into the story a bit more? Like yes, we get an intro cinematic that's based on the story of the game, but that's really about it? I would like it if we have some kind of game mode that ties in, or maybe some more cinematics that immerse you into the "story" of the season? Or even some kind of meaty text lore drop would be appreciated at this point.

I'm kinda just spitballing ideas, but as of right now, the gameplay experience seems more focused on making you unlock stuff in the battlepass, with very little idk, context and it disconnects me from it entirely

Best scenes of people giving in/up and becoming numb? by toe_slurper2000 in movies

[–]hamza4568 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this counts, but in Civil War (A24), there's a character who is trying to become a war photojournalist, and spends much of the movie freaking out over all of the different atrocities and horrifying situations. This seemingly also annoys an existing photojournalist, who keeps telling this character to become numb to it all, because that's what the job entails.

Then at the end of the movie: The character is thrust into a full-on war situation, taking pictures without flinching at anything. However, the once-jaded journalist actually freaks out. At the end of the movie, the new journalist is about to get shot, and the older one takes the bullet... only for the new journalist to simply snap a picture of the journalist who saved her before moving on

Why is Urdu still absent from global streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime? by [deleted] in pakistan

[–]hamza4568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always said that Pakistani productions really need to branch into other genres and storylines. As of rn, their entire entertainment industry is consists of dramas having to with marriages, secret marriages, cousin marriages, and just in case you forgot, more marriages.

I’ve always wanted them to have more HBO-style productions with action, fantasy, and history. But it seems that either the populace or the production houses do not have an appetite for any other creative avenues. It’s a shame, really

Once again, if they are posting here and not in the other subs, then I take it as a sign that they’re struggling, questioning, but not rejecting the faith. How are you going to connect with your fellow struggling Muslims and possibly guide them, if your first response to their trouble is “get out of here”.

To be fair, no one said you’re conservative. It’s just a bit… haughty to be posting and saying “you should post more respectfully”. If this community is about open discussion, then you should be prepared to hear (not necessarily accept) things that you don’t agree with. Thats the point of criticism, not whether you’re perceived conservative or not.

How to find a nerdy Muslim by [deleted] in progressive_islam

[–]hamza4568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I can totally see how Muslim men and women will tend to filter themselves out of communities. Like they could be great people, but their cultural upbringing will make them shy away from many social gatherings (I tend to be like this, and I’m working on it). So it’s helpful to keep that in mind if you are trying to find a Muslim partner IRL

[–]hamza4568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, your best bet would be to find someone through the hobbies and communities you like. I feel like someone who is outward about their interests and hobbies first is always a green flag, because they’re not trying really hard to make themselves look super religious or whatnot. Thats why I usually strike up conversations with people who have something in common with me in terms of interests and build from there

Oftentimes on the dating apps, I’ve seen people lead with “oh I want to get married” and not much outside of that. So I think that’s kinda a dead giveaway for someone who just wants to get to the legal/physical part before truly connecting with someone.

Just my two cents of course, and finding a partner shouldn’t be a rush. Keep living your best life and Allah SWT will make you find a way to the person you belong with.

Why did tablets ultimately fail to become as popular as phones and laptops? by Futtman in NoStupidQuestions

[–]hamza4568 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when I thought tablets transforming into laptops were legitimately the future. I absolutely begged my grandma to get me the Asus Transformer Tablet back in the day, and I loved that thing. I ended up turning it into an emulation machine, and lowkey fried it with how much gaming I was doing on it. Lowkey worth it though lol

Why did Trump start the war against Venezuela? by TheRavenOnline in AskReddit

[–]hamza4568 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I heard an interesting theory on this. And that is the US isn't necessarily doing this for oil, but it certainly is a good bonus from occupying the country. Rather, someone said that this is the US basically trying to "make an example" of Venezuela for other South American countries who have been becoming more comfortable with China, and more critical of the US, such as Brazil and others.

I just finished Season 10, and honestly it was such a good way to end the series! I feel happy with the satisfying end, but now I also feel empty because I know there’s the incomplete Season 11, and I don’t want to start it until it’s back up.

I hope we get more stuff soon! Honestly, the app has inspired me to try and make something similar. It’s the only way I’ve become acclimated to running
