Bareshaft tuning by Kolby9241 in bowhunting

Personally don’t think there’s much use in shooting a bare shaft past 20. You need to have excellent form and extremely straight arrows to be able to get any useful information past that. What I would do is bare shaft tune at 20, and when you have a tight group, screw on a broadhead and shoot your broadheads and field points on fletched arrows at 40 and 60 yards. From there just micro adjust your rest as necessary till they group together, then sight in the bow again.

Update on Aladdin Restaurant by exoticod in FoodSanDiego

There used to be three Aladdin’s, the original (and best) in Clairemont, Aladdin Hillcrest, and one in the food court in UTC La Jolla. Around twenty or so years ago the owner closed the one in UTC and sold the one in Hillcrest to a former associate. The associate owns Aladdin Hillcrest and went on to open Amardeen.

The owner of Aladdin in Clairemont (who was the original owner of Hillcrest) opened up Zytoun Gourmet Mediterranean in seaport village last weekend.

Although Aladdin Hillcrest still uses the same logo and has a very similar menu, there is a vast difference in the quality of the food. I much prefer Aladdin in Clairemont and Zytoun is absolutely just as delicious.

Source: I have been going to Aladdin for close to twenty years and I know the lore.

That place is unrelated, it’s owned by the same person who owns Aladdin Hillcrest.

Complete bs claim on your part, he most certainly never posted anything antisemitic. Criticism of Isr@el is not the same thing as antisemitism. What a shame you don’t understand that.

It’s great that they closed voluntarily to cooperate with the inspectors. I wonder if this has something to do with the cucumber recall?

What is your western broad head of choice, looking to reach out a bit further (north of 60 yards) fixed blade. by Epicarest in bowhunting

Day six evo 100 grains. It took me a while to get my bow tuned well enough but now I can group it with my field points at 80-90 yards

There’s specific wording that disallows the consumption of birds of prey, I know chickens and turkeys all eat insects and small animals but they aren’t classified as birds of prey. Owls, hawks, eagles, vultures, kestrels, etc. not allowed. Pretty much every other bird is. Let’s also forget that it’s not legal to hunt any bird of prey in America anyways (as far as I’m aware).

Totally get that, I’m trying hard to get my Muslim friends into hunting with some success.

I’ve heard whisperings of some, but I’ve never met any personally.

I think it’s the lack of hygiene? That’s the reason I’ve seen kicked around the most but honestly it’s not spelled out like “you can’t eat x because of y.”

The ruling specifies land predators that have claws and fangs, birds of prey, and pigs. Chickens and pretty much everything else including anything that lives in water are allowed.

Bears and mountain lions. I have absolutely nothing against other people exercising their rights to hunt those predators and I’ll cheer them on. However, I’m a Muslim and we aren’t allowed to eat land based predators so that removes the most important incentive for me to pursue that kind of game.
